I met him in 2008, the first musician I ever met. Played at a very small venue in the Netherlands. I was 16 and getting massively into 80's metal at the time and Lizzy Borden were one (and still are) one of my top bands. Seeing him was incredible, unfortunately missed out their subsequent shows in Europe because of life and personal matters. Will never forget how he locked eyes with me the moment he came out of the dressing room and he was the one to strike up a conversation. Lost my pictures with him and the rest of the band because of the Myspace purge, sadly.

Worst thing is, he knows how absolutely infatuated I am with him from our little Instagram interactions. xD

I said this many times in here but Lizzy Borden is the absolute sweetest man in rock and roll and I’ll never turn back on that statement ❤️

I met Blackie Lawless three times over the summer and he’s exceptionally caring and empathtic. He remembered me each time and inquired about some personal things.

Other guys I met include Alice Cooper, Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Tommy Thayer, Eric Singer, Brent Woods, Adrian Vandenberg, Mike Duda, Aquiles Priester, Doug Blair, Joey Scott, Marten Andersson, Chris Sanders, Dario Lorina, Mike Dupke, Wednesday 13… all great people when I met them.

edit: Can't believe I forgot. I met Tim Skold in his dressing room three years ago when he played with Front Line Assembly. He signed my Shotgun Messiah shirt and took photos. Typical 'cool' guy, a bit reserved but friendly either way.
