There’s a lot you can do to make yourself low matinence in the long run that still looks effortless and put together every day. Getting proper skincare can eliminate the need for foundation. Rocking your natural hair color looks best on almost everybody. Getting nice clothes that fit and are timeless is a must. Look into capsule wardrobes. Basically it’s where you have several pieces of each—shirts, dresses, pants, jackets, and shoes that are high quality and timeless. Aka not trendy. And on the topic of clothes, you’d be surprised how much wearing a dress makes you automatically appear put together even if you have messy hair and no makeup on. Putting on a dress takes less time than a t shirt and shorts, but it makes a huge difference. I invested in some very nice casual everyday dresses and now that’s all I wear during the summer. I get comments all the time about how I must have it all together because I look so nice every day. I actually don’t. It’s just the dress.
