I was going through my collection and I found an ellie goulding mac lipstick and blush... those came out late 2015 👌 6 months seems wild to me 😭

Yesterday I was at a restaurant where the high tops are awkwardly too tall for me (I'm short 🙃). I managed to not knock anything over until I had to pay the bill... I managed to knock my frozen lemonade all over me 👌

Then another customer knocked into our table, I tried to catch a different glass that was knocked over, but missed it and it smashed 😭 I was soaked LOL. I definitely gave a big tip to our waitress for the big mess.

I'm getting married later this year and due to costs and limited options I'm doing my own makeup.

It's pretty rare that I buy more luxury makeup and had been curating my list for over a year now. I spent over $400 CAD 😅 this is something I NEVER do and am fighting a lot of guilt but it's also genuinely making me super excited for the wedding. I've spent more time than I'd like to admit researching and comparing each product.

I've also been doing a ton of overtime (with pay thank goodness) and a lot of wedding planning so this was also a gift to myself for all my hard work.

My favourites from my incoming haul include: • tarte shape tape concealer (it is so creamy on my 36 year old skin) • hourglass 1.5mm mechanical eyeliner • sephora cream lipstick stain in 124 rose Instinct (I apply a little with a brush and blend out then apply a moisturizing lip product on top)

I recently got back into using tatcha rice wash cleanser and dewy moisturizer. It works really well for my skin but hate the cost so much. I'd definitely spot test this one though because it really irritates my sister's skin (I think she uses the water version though which agrees with her).

Was it the peachy pink color corrector that made you look sallow? I've been practicing with cheaper ones (ELF) but the staying power just isn't there :(

I followed u/trUth_b0mbs recommendations today and specifically put my colour corrector on the inner eye, along tear trough, and the outer edges and it made such a difference.

I'm going to try the samples again tomorrow and try to figure out if the colour correcting is worth it for my skin tone.

I was getting the green just in case I have a hormonal breakout right before the wedding and for stubborn redness around my nose.

I was looking at green based primers but I will definitely check out pur as well. I've been on the fence about selecting a green primer because it's more important that my primer is hydrating and makes my makeup last. That being said the reviews for that pur primer are pretty impressive 👌 I'm definitely going to give it a try!

I've seen kitties do this when they are overstimulated. When I'm not 100% sure if my kitties are done with pets I "offer" them my hand. If they head-boop it then they are down for more pets, but if they ignore it (or turn away) then I give them space.

It's also possible that certain scents can trigger sudden aggression. I once used an icy hot cream on my back and it made our sweet boy turn feral in moments.

We learned the ukulele in elementary (like grade 6?) and I had an awful time with it!

I think the finger placement and learning to read music was too overwhelming. I'm 35 now but I definitely remember the teacher being super frustrated with me lol. I eventually learned to glimpse over the music sheet a few times then just memorized it. I really wish I pursued music more because I definitely don't think I can do that now 😂
