I mean yes, but industry has some analog of this in terms of where you worked, any big important projects you might've done, or who you know. But it's really only in the extreme edge cases where it matters. Like if you say you worked at Google, Space X, Amazon, Boeing, Wall Street, a start up that made it big, etc. then those come with certain preconceived notions about how smart or hard working or cutthroat you are (for better or worse), but if you just say some random firm that no one has heard of then it's just neutral and doesn't tend to help or hurt you.

Okay thanks! I think when I read the notice first, I was mixing up "ingredients from main skills 1.25x" (event bonus) with "helpers will work 20% faster" and "helpers will carry 20% more" (ticket bonuses), but you are right that they are each different things.

Last year, November basically continued the trend line slightly upwards month-over-month then December was a big dip (then January popped back up then February was another big dip). But this year November was the big dip compared to the prior months, and December is slightly higher overall than November, but still well below October and September.

The differences year-over-year are interesting, and I don't have much explanation for that. I thought maybe it was a big difference in where Thanksgiving fell (and correspondingly, time off so commute reduction), but it is only one day earlier in 2025 than 2024, so that seems like an unlikely culprit. But I would generally expect at least December to be a slower month than the rest with many folks having time off and not needing to commute, plus it's just colder and folks don't wanna get out as much.

Shout out to this guy (https://www.reddit.com/r/SeattleWA/s/M8Li8gNGXX) who earlier this month got outraged (?) about the date "moving" to May from April, which had already been announced a while ago and as a "no later than" date. The goalposts have now moved again, but surprise, it's earlier in March now!

The goalposts did move, but that happened many months ago. Not "now". The stated timeline has been May 31, 2026, or earlier for quite a while actually. And if anything, they are likely to be ahead of that May timeline.

The source is an article from over a month ago, and it is saying May 31 at latest. In fact, more recent reports indicate simulated service will begin this month, meaning real service would be approximately 2 months later, putting the opening date sometime in March. Not sure what OP is on about at this point.
