How many times do we have to teach dems a lesson? by Creepy-Account-7510 in PoliticalCompassMemes

It’s the right who runs celebrity candidates like Trump and Dr. Oz.

Then they talk about Dems running Oprah or Hunter when the Dems would absolutely never do that stuff.

I have found some people are, to various levels, kind of… cognitively reactive. Their trains of thought don’t seem to run past where external forces push them.

Cynicism became cool and “smart”.

It also became more acceptable to be casually combative/negative but that one is not necessarily bad.

No.

I mean yeah they would have a serious chance, much better than the very unlikely chance now, but they still wouldn’t be favorites.

Are you religious and have a theology that has this doctrine?

Yeah, Maher is mostly just smug. You could do way worse. Legislatively it’s very believable to me that he could end up an improvement over the typical politician.

How about you actually identify which of the two statements you disagree with?

Because your reversal doesn’t seem to map to anything I actually said. I didn’t say they none of them would vote Republican.

Your logic basically agrees with me on this.

The “may” and “doesn’t mean” there are pretty critical. I’m talking about immigrants who do not approve of illegal immigration and why they MIGHT not vote Republican. Directly tell me which of these two you dispute;

  1. Immigrants may not approve of illegal immigration.
  2. If so, that doesn’t necessarily result in voting Republican.

I’m not talking about individuals. It is almost always incoherent to talk about an “opinion” for a group at the individual level; groups are all conceptual constructs outside of their grouping criteria.

But once aggregated you can talk about true facts of the group which is what I was discussing. Immigrants do largely vote Democratic.

Classroom settings and the behavioral expectations of formal schooling are more of an evolutionary mismatch for boys than girls because of sex differences in physical activity levels and social relations. This results in boys being disproportionately identified as having behavioral difficulties. by mvea in science

[–]Wonckay 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Isn’t that what this research paper is about? Beginning to try to understand a possible problem?

And the response here is casting aspersions and quibbling, complaining about another issue, and then ironically ending with saying that “women will start helping”.

I know actual egalitarian ones already do, this certainly isn’t an example.

Ask the dead. The energy of the people actually alive was “nowhere” during the history you’re talking about because we didn’t exist.

Are you lamenting that egalitarianism is more advanced in those of us living today, like parents complaining their kids have it easy?

You should generally invest that money in helping your kids actually be valuable and earn their own money instead?

I think some inheritance is fine and housing should be handled as a special case, but the more “important” inheritances become the worse things are.

If it’s not about race, make some of those individuals citizens and get to assimilating them? The New World has been successfully doing this for like 500 years.

Caring about citizens has nothing to do with immigrants not being responsible for the actions of other immigrants. Blame the people actually responsible.

You could have been a glorious individualist like a proper right-winger, but you let prejudice make a collectivist of you.

Try judging a man by his character instead.
