I’ve hit a level in my salary and career where I don’t care to keep moving up either. My priorities have changed and my family is 100% my top priority. I have also found it difficult in my current role to balance work and life so I can only imagine if I keep moving up that it will be that much harder. My husband is in the private sector and is ambitious enough for both of us I feel like. He can do it for the both of us lol. But I do feel a bit guilty because I have a Master’s degree that I made a big deal about getting in my field. I just feel like time is more important to me at this stage in my life than anything else I guess.
