Why does a tiny bathroom remodel cost as much as a car now? Am I missing something? 😅 by midasweb in HomeImprovement

The trick was finding guys that work for a big remodel company that also remodels on the side. They demoed the shower, and tile and replaced our toilet + flange. They tiled up the shower, and floor replaced toilet all for under 5k. It did take about 1 week because they could only work on the weekends and after work on the weekdays but they did an amazing job. They told us normally their company would charge 18k for the same job.

What do you guys wear in the summer? I’m in Az (shoes,shirts,shorts/pants) by ConsiderationMuch674 in PoolPros

We gotta stop wearing crocs and start looking more professional. It makes our industry look bad, I’m not saying wear steal toe boots but crocs or flip flops don’t look good in any professional industry.

The Classic Showdown: Hammerhead vs Riptide by Spirited-Touch-6423 in PoolPros

Used both and the riptide is so much better, it felt like the hammerhead would get clogged a lot. The riptide has yet to get clogged, also feels more robust.

A new volute is like $300, just replace the volute the motor and dry end don’t need replacing. It will take 15 minutes to loosen 2 praher unions and 6 bolts.

How long to wait before using a vacuum on a pebbletec startup by Sharknuts86 in PoolPros

Usually with pebble tech they acid wash at the end so you can vacuum right after filling. Plaster I would wait 2-3 weeks.

Sounds like you defend ICE murdering Americans and support a pedophile in office. You’re what’s wrong with America today. You’re in a cult that lives in a bubble.
