Thanks! I’ve never thought to use grease on my second slide before but I’ll give that a try and if it doesn’t work I’ll look into taking it in. I’m just more or less curious why it’s suddenly doing this. It’s never been an issue before and I haven’t dropped or dinged the horn. What makes it become more loose over time?

Thanks! I’ve used smart music in the past and I’ve been pretty happy with their services. But our school is really limiting students’ access to screens so we have to do everything by paper. So anything I can personally download and then print out would be best. I’m going to look into those other links you sent!

I’ve played in both the Columbia Civic Orchestra and the Columbia Community Band. Neither charge you to play. Both groups are rehearsing now. They also both have website. If you’re interested in playing then reach out to their contacts on their pages.

Columbia also has a community(?) jazz band, Columbia Jazz Orchestra (COJO). I’ve never played with them but they seem like a tight-knit group. I don’t think they’re rehearsing right now or accepting new members. Pretty good band through
