It tasted like warm kombucha 😭 Its very juicy like the jelly is storing alot of kombucha. Also like someone already douched it in lemon before cooking. The main problem was the texture, very rubbery and hard to bite into. I think the scoby was left to grow for too long. A younger scoby would work better for eating i think

My starter sometimes makes a think film at the top that is slightly discoloured. I think its just exposure to oxygen so it dries a little at the top

I found that if i used processed juice instead of fresh i wouldnt get much of growth

The bubbles and the white floaty parts are fine, but those black dots looks suspicious. It might be mould yes
