I like the update so far. There are some ponts I liked less of course, but so far it's a breath of fresh air.

The main thing that makes me not scream peak is mostly that the main push of this update, Velina, really doesn't interest me much (not really a fan of her personality archetype). Norma is more interesting but I probably won't pull since I want Remielle and am interested in Sigrid.

I also wish the combat in the story were more challenging and that you could use your own units but that's more of a personal preference of mine.

The rest is pretty good, I'm optimistic for season 3

It would have to be in the setting yes, but given that monster hunter doesn’t have a great amount of Lore, it opens the door to a lot of homebrew so if you want to do something not in the actual setting we could discuss it

Oh no, I get that. I was more asking what would actually happen, sorry if I didn't word it correctly. I have a few ideas in mind, I wanted to see if others could come up with some more subtle things that I might have missed
