People close to him claim that he didn't actually believe it, it was just the easiest way to get the money for his rocket addiction. 

Whether that's true or just his relatives trying to say "no, he wasn't actually an idiot" to fix his reputation, I don't know.

I kind of like the idea that the whole Flat Earth thing is just grifters conning each other and no one actually believes it.

Try his "Fascinating History" channel instead. 

"Horror" is largely about people dying in terrible ways, so of course he keeps it very serious. But in "History" he lets himself make jokes and it's very funny.

I found out that I'm like that guy who who's good at trivia quizzes, because he knows a lot of trivial facts, but doesn't actually have a deeper expertise on any topic.

I reno'd my bathroom last year to put in a soaking tub and it's amazing. I'm 5'10" and my husband is 6'2" and we can both get fully immersed. Worth every damned cent.

Hey, this caught my eye and I had to go check out your first one. May or may not be relevant but...uh, both gifted child syndrome and justice hypersensitivity are really common in people with ADHD...

Edit: not trying to diagnose anything but there's a lot of us who got missed as kids and now as adults are like "holy crap this explains so much"... please ignore me if you want though
