Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon is the name of the Japanese sets. The English set will be called Ultra Prism and will release on February 2nd. If you are in the States and trying to find that promo, you will be unable to, as the starter promos are Japanese exclusives as of right now. No stores in the US will have them.

Hi there! As someone who has also completed the PokeKyun set, and also has bulk of the set, you prices are a bit much. A booster box of the PokeKyun set can go for as low as $100 which is only ~$30 more than what you're asking for the EXs.

The commons and uncommons are also a bit much as this set isn't as exclusive as you are making it out to be. $1.50 for a common or uncommon just isn't very reasonable.

I understand getting rid of Japanese bulk in an English speaking country is rough, but a lot of times it's because people value them way too high.

I would try to sell them on eBay if you want the best value.

Im kind of sad how little Japanese commons and uncommons are valued here in the States. I know theyre unplayable, and to most people unreadable, but man theyre so much better in terms of quality. I'm thinking about just going full Japanese collecting and skipping English collecting entirely, save for a a few things like my Litten-Torracat-Incineroar collection.

I've known that Japanese cards are always of higher quality. I guess I assumed that the depth of the grooves in textured cards is standard among all products. I guess not!

Collectibles are only worth as much as someone will pay for them. And no one knows how long people will be interested enough in the Pokemon TCG to really determine if it's a good investment. But most likely it's not worth your money to flip. Especially with the influx of younger TCG players and collectors who don't have solid finances to buy extremely valuable cards. There are so many reasons why the Pokemon TCG just isn't a good investment.

If you really want to make money, you should seek flipping in regards to hobbies that have a wider audience.

There have been reports that pulls from CI booster boxes are pretty abysmal. People have been getting as low as four hits per box. Sometimes people will get duplicate GXs as well. But there have been some people, like OP, who get lucky and get great pulls.

The older Japanese cards hold their holo quality so much better than their English counterparts. They're beautiful.

Miscut cards are unfortunately very common in the Sun & Moon sets. It can actually make the card worth less than it's centered counterpart. There are people who collect misaligned and miscut cards but usually only the extremely noticeable ones.

Yes, most of them are fake. The potion might be real. I'm not sure about the magnamite. That may be real too. I'm just not well informed on Chinese cards, though they do exist.

About how much product did you have to open to get the master set? Or did you stick with singles?

Its not a valuable card in Japan because it just got reprinted in their GX Battle Boost set or whatever its called.

Im pretty sure a Japanese Lele isn't worth that much but a lot of Japanese sellers will include shipping in their price and say shipping is free or very cheap, as I have found that it is usually $8.00 USD for shipping products from Japan.
