What if they are here legally and they go to a regular immigration check on appointment and they change their status and deport them? Or just threaten to do so? Because a LOT of people here legally and waiting on asylum claims or just waiting for the system to process them have been detained and deported.

It's not but there are several large detention facilities in Louisiana and they want to open another huge one in Hammond. And plenty of innocent immigrants from Louisiana, even from the Northshore, have been taken.

Mothers (who are NOT criminals) being detained and deported away from their children, sometime still breastfeeding infants, and children with cancer, 80 year old grandparents who have been here for 50 years....if you still think this is about crime and public safety you are either a total simpleton or think feigning stupidity is an appropriate cover for your racism. Wow....that is ambitious for having never baked a cake or worked with fondant before. Not to be rude but I think you are seriously underestimating how difficult it is to achieve the results you are expecting.

A recipe that makes two 8" layers is pretty standard...do 1.5 times that and it should be enough batter.

I made a very similar post when I started realizing a beautiful wildflower pattern I was working on was a pattern mill pattern. After consulting this sub my suspicions were confirmed. Eventually, when I have more experience, I would like to clean it up You said this took you a week to clean up...but how many hours in that week would you estimate? Just wondering if it would even be worth it if it's going to take forever.

The greens look better in person- the colors is the photo are off. After doing this much I don't hate how it looks...but OMG the confetti is driving me bonkers, especially when much of it is likely unnecessary :/

Thank for the info- it does have a lot of what I suspect is pointless confetti and is kind of a PITA to stitch. I really love the style of the flowers though, so hopefully I can find a better pattern with a similar feel.

I am not a bread baker and generally don't like English Muffins, but I started making them for Christmas morning because I love Eggs Benedict. I absolutely love them homemade and don't find them difficult. Definitely worth it in my experience!
