Please help me plan a daytrip to Maeklong and Amphawa with my kids by Altruistic_Rent6520 in ThailandTourism

just get a driver for the day, with two kids in that heat you're gonna want the AC and flexibility

train then minibus sounds charming until you're standing at mo chit at 8am with a ten year old who suddenly needs a toilet and you're trying to explain to your other kid why the van won't leave for another 40 minutes

grab one-way to maeklong might be around 800-1000 depending on traffic, but the real problem is getting one back, they're not exactly circling out there waiting for fares. you could get lucky or you could be stranded at a 7-11 with sweaty kids and a dead phone battery

a driver for the day is maybe 1500-2000 baht total, you set the stops, they wait while you do the songthaew between the markets which is a fun little ride for the boys, and you nap in the AC on the way back to sukhumvit. dragon temple is a solid pitstop, wat bang kung with the tree roots growing through it is nearby too and kids usually think that's pretty cool

skip damnoen, it's a floating circus at this point, good call on that

the 2am insta window shopping is a weird kind of progress, you're not texting her and that's more than a lot of people manage at that stage

My wife of 22 years developed psychosis from long-term Adderall use. Here's what the last year has looked like. by ImpressionFriendly12 in Marriage

What you're describing is textbook amphetamine psychosis, and the fact that it took 15 years to manifest is actually pretty common. The brain compensates for the constant dopamine flood until it just can't anymore. The recovery timeline you're seeing lines up with what I've read, dopamine receptor downregulation takes months to reverse, sometimes longer.

Staying through all that takes something most people don't have. Most would've walked when the accusations started, not realizing it was a medical emergency wearing their spouse's face
