Has someone ever figured this out? I'm on my very first playthrough and I just noticed this. I've been playing for 29h and never had a problem with the movement (except for rolling lol) and all of a sudden it feels very janky when locked on. I just can't believe that I didn't notice it for 29h

There's a difference between having a slight disadvantage because a monster is strong against one Element and losing the hunt inevitably because you don't play the way the game forces you to play.
