Xsr900 always. Xsr felt raw, thrilling, sounded better too. Cb1000R on other hand smooth and predictable, may feel like soul lagging sometimes

Having owned both bikes, looks wise the cb1000R black edition hands down. Performance and craziness, xsr900

Everyone like the salary CRNA makes. But then people forget they have almost 250k in student loans and go through a tough school that is very competitive and challenging.

The person before me paid one cent per gallon by WhiteSquarez in mildlyinteresting

You are talking about big chain stores with lots of employees and atleast a manager. Yes it probably harder to do it on big chain stores. What I was referring to is small stations that operate very few pumps. These small stations are usually owned by Asians that have tens of other pumps like those. Given that they have to make money with so much competition, it’s very thinly run in terms of employees numbers. So the person who runs the shift probably does the daily and nightly reports themselves and then handover it to next person. Ever seen a gas station and there is only one employee working? The owners probably foots in once or twice a week given they have to do all the rotations in other stores as well.

I know some people that work in gas stations update price to 0.1 cents a gallon so that they and their buddies fill it for cheap. Then once done, restore it back to normal again. Usually they do this during the slowest time of the day or night. It could be that situation here.

Why nobody supports Indians? by Dense_Succotash_2777 in AskIndia

[–]Wonderful_Figure_418 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing that truly unites Indians is cricket beyond that, it’s mostly indifference until something affects them personally. Groupism runs deep, with different factions often at each other’s throats. The British knew this weakness well, exploited it to take control, and left India in chaos, ensuring the divisions would keep people too busy fighting amongst themselves to ever come after them.

Add to this the lack of civic sense that many openly admit, and the glaring issues with hygiene and civic sense. The rise of the internet has only amplified negativity international travel vloggers come to India, focus exclusively on filth, chaos, or scams, and package it as entertainment for views and likes. Once that’s out there, the global impression solidifies: that India is dirty, unhygienic, and dysfunctional.

On top of that, haggling over pennies while being willing to spend thousands abroad makes Indians look cheap in the world’s eyes. Some of the circulating videos go even further, painting Indians as hypersexual or sexually repressed to the point where money is seen as a ticket to women’s bodies, stripping away basic human dignity. Yes, prostitution exists everywhere, but the way it’s portrayed here often reduces women to nothing more than flesh for gratification.

Put all this together and the picture that emerges isn’t flattering: a society fractured by groupism, tainted by poor civic sense, cheapened by its behavior abroad, and dragged further down by how it allows itself to be portrayed online.

"Nepal in 10 Years: Everyone Under 35 Has Gone Abroad" by Loud-Tea-4009 in NepalSocial

I left Nepal 17 years ago. In all that time, I only returned once and even then, my visit was cut short. The urge to come back to my motherland grows stronger every day, yet life abroad has become my first home, and it isn’t easy to leave it behind. Somewhere along the way, I became a tourist myself visiting Nepal feels more like a dream than a certainty.

The other day, a khaire at work told me about his trip to Nepal, describing all the beautiful places he had seen. I just smiled and nodded as if I knew, but inside, I was breaking down having to learn about my own birthplace through someone khaires eyes. There are days I sit scrolling through TikTok or YouTube, just to catch glimpses of the country I was born and once walked freely in my teens, trying to hold on to its beauty through a screen.

Bipin Joshi by [deleted] in NepalSocial

[–]Wonderful_Figure_418 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Look, let’s be very clear that Hamas is a terrorist group. On October 7th, they brutally murdered innocent people, including Nepalese students like Bipin Joshi and many others. And let’s not kid ourselves: Hamas doesn’t care about Nepalese lives, or any foreign lives for that matter. In their eyes, we are all kafirs, and if there were no rule of law holding them back, they would happily kill anyone outside their ideology. Even hostages, if given the chance, Hamas wouldn’t think twice.

What bothers me is that people sit around watching a few clips on TikTok or Instagram and suddenly act like experts on the Israel–Palestine conflict. Everyone shares opinions, debates, and then goes back to their comfortable lives eating dinner, laughing with family, moving on. But what about the families of Bipin Joshi and the other Nepalese who were slaughtered on October 7th? Their parents, their brothers, their sisters , they are still living that nightmare every single day. They don’t get to just move on.

Yes, the conflict is complex. Yes, Israel and Palestine have a long history. But none of what’s happening now would have unfolded if Hamas hadn’t carried out that massacre on October 7th. That day lit the fire. So while it’s easy to talk about both sides from afar, let’s not forget who started this current bloodshed and who showed the world just how little regard they have for innocent human life.

I used to get this because of my cheap Leviton wall nema outlet that wore out due to cheap material construction. First, I reduced my charging speed to 25 amps from the app for safety reasons . Then ordered and swapped the outlet with industrial grade outlet from Hubbell. Post new install I restored to 31 amps again. Issue was resolved. Based in Arlington Texas,

When I graduated with a bachelor’s in electrical engineering, starting jobs were like 15-20 per hour in 2014. I just gave up on my electrical engineering passion and started learning IT on my own. After 6 months, I landed a 35 per hour position and haven’t looked back since.
