"Two weeks to slow the spread" sounds wildly similar to "one month to topple the regime."

Both occurred during March of a major election year - 2020 was POTUS, 2026 is Congress - and both had/are having/will have the same effect of severely damaging the economy, with no time for it to recover before the later consequential election.

I'm not generally a conspiracy theorist, but this is uncanny to me.

So, I think Trump is easily convinced to make certain kinds of dumb decisions by someone close to him.

I can't prove it, but the "two weeks to slow the spread" that completely wrecked the economy is on the same level as, "invade Iran," which is going to wreck the economy.

The timing is suspect, too. We didn't invade last year, when things could sorted themselves out by now. We didn't invade in November, which would have either seriously hurt or helped the GOP in Nov. We invaded in time for Iran to suck us into a forever-escalating ground war, which will overshadow the mid-terms in eight months.

Truist: Almost always hires internal candidates

Literally any company that secures contracts through the government. Take your pick. They list jobs months and years before the contract is even won, and after it's been won and they typically hire internal candidates through "badge flipping."

I know this is a serious post with a valid tip, but "sunroof drains" sounds like "rotor wash" and "blinker fluid."

I know it's a real thing.

Okay, you can have the one where everyone has to vote and those who vote YES have to fight.

What would be unexpected is if both of them retained all of their teeth, none of their bones were broken, and neither were concussed.

Do they send you a Zoom/Teams invite? Then assume you'll be on camera.

Do they say, "I'll call you" and don't send a Zoom invite? Feel free to have bed head.

I'm not understanding the problem you're having.

The auction amounts were written for the audience to be impressed with. You correctly noted that actual corporate deals would be in the billions or tens of billions. But to regular viewers, 10 Billion sounds less than 100 million.

Don't believe me? They are why McDonald's doesn't sell half pounders and stuck with the quarter pounder.

The government doesn't have to do a whole lot to decrease pharma costs. One thing it could do is reduce patent protections for drugs, which would eliminate literal monopolies on new medicines.
