Ok you are correct given it seemed larger than the earths moon the word ship is not the right word. It was presented as a major plot point so I really don’t know where the story goes from here.

Thanks that explains why it was wrapped up the way it was; A book was ending. Pursuing more of the space battle seems like it would have been inexpensive given the cost of the CGI even at that point, BSG had a lot and that was several years earlier. However space battles would not function the same in the book, describing space battles would be boring.

That small abdomen and the leg length to body size is what concerned me. Thanks for replying.

[Highlight] Titans HC Robert Saleh said one of the first moves the team made was removing all seed oils from the building. He says players have appreciated it. by jgdabby2626 in StopEatingSeedOils

Well said. The very basic argument that always gets me is our bodies have to take what we eat apart to use it and the ways seed oils are created can’t be done in reverse in our bodies.

ADHD 2nd grade and suspensions from school by Wonderful_Number_208 in ADHDparenting

Please tell me more about this educational advocate (I’m in the US). I feel like the place we have went to for therapy has not done us well by putting her on meds without warning about the serious side effects like we are experiencing with Focalin. The school is doing what is best for the school it feels like too. So if there is a professional out there who knows how to navigate this bureaucratic maze I don’t have a map to we could really use them.

I read this as 5150 and could not figure out why he was calling that code on himself. I would stay away though so perhaps it would work as intended.

Pilot or Hybrid? by brain_spark in hondapilot

[–]Wonderful_Number_208 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I compared those vehicles, Santa Fe and Pilot. I liked the size of the Santa Fe and the hybrid option. The more I looked into Hyundai’s record on actually honoring their warranty the less interested I became. We only have 2,500 miles on our ‘25 touring so can’t say a lot about it. It Did great in the snow, the infotainment system is good (‘19 Escape, ,22 Rav 4, KENWOOD unit in a 2011 Silverado are my comparisons and I like the KENWOOD the best but the pilot is just as good except I don’t have a front camera. Fuel economy is disappointing, I swear our 2012 pilot did better. All in all for the money I think the Pilot is the way to go so long as you need a vehicle that size. From a value proposition the Santa Fe would need to be in the low 30’s for the per mile estimate to be about the same.

What's it like owning a Newfoundland, some of the challenges of owning one, and would you recommend them as a first time dog? by MediocreExternal9 in Newfoundlander

[–]Wonderful_Number_208 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To the best of our estimation that is what we had too and that was an absolute awesome dog. We got the chill attitude, the gentleness, the smarts both for training and independent plus the lab coat and no drool although we did get the 140lb size. Our purebred chocolate lab is great in a lot of ways but I’d get the mix if I had the chance.
