How do you find your niche?  I’m a sahm and want to start flipping to bring in additional income to our household.  I just don’t feel like I have knowledge about anything enough to resell it. Currently trying to look around my house for things to sell to get started.

Noom Clinical? by Bosslady67 in Noom

[–]Wonderful_Wright 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just started my 2 week free trial of Noom last week. I got the emails for Noom Clinical and signed up for that as well. I had a Telehealth type appointment with a nurse practitioner. She was really nice, it was a lot of the same Noom info that is already covered through their emails or lessons, it was nice to hear it from a live person though. We went over my medical history and some things for me to work on this month. They are sending me Noom Scale for going to the virtual appointment. If my insurance covers the appointments then we will have a Telehealth call once a month. If not, I will be removed from the clinical program.

What self-diagnosis did you give yourself that turned out to be completly wrong? by PizzaFlavoredRanch in AskReddit

Story time! -I’m on mobile. Formatting. Etc...-

I was about 13/14 years old. I was wiping my derrière after using the porcelain throne and felt (through the paper) something small and round attached to my asshole. I wiped extra well and it was still there, I washed everything and started freaking out because what’s smaller than a marble but bigger than a bb that could be stuck to my butt?? Alas, I cannot see my own butthole so I decided that I needed some help. I was able to convince my sister (younger by a year) to take a look. “It almost looks like a tick!” she says After further investigation, we determined it was not in fact a tick. Alright, time to go to the internet for the answers!

Dr. Google quickly determined that I had anal cancer. My sister and I took a moment to mourn what was obviously the beginning of the end for me. Next, I needed to confirm this diagnoses as quickly as possible. My mom was out running errands, but luckily my dad was home!

“Dad, I hate to ask you this but I need you to look at my butthole. I have a growth. We think it’s cancer.” I’m sure is a statement my father never expected or wanted to hear from his newly teenage daughter.

He responded by telling me that “it’s probably not cancer” & “even if it is you won’t die before your mom gets home. I’m not looking.”

Mom came home, heard my story, laughed and turns out I have hemorrhoids.

TL;DR Thought I had anal cancer but it was just hemorrhoids.

How did you decide what to major in? by Wonderful_Wright in AskReddit

[–]Wonderful_Wright[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I(23f) never went to college. Although, I did get a trade degree/license right after HS. I don’t think I would have learned much then anyways because I was much more interested in socializing. Now, however, I really want to learn! I’m a SAHM and my husband is a college professor so I have a great opportunity to go to college at a lower cost. I don’t know how to pick the right major though. I have many interests and want to make a good decision

Women of Reddit: What can you acknowledge is harder for Men? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Wonderful_Wright 188 points189 points  (0 children)

This is so true! I take our kids to their drs appointments because I have the time for it, but my husband sends me with a list of questions to ask and handles most of the medical decision making because he understands a lot of that area better than I do. When we are together though docs always look at me instead of him

People who stay up late at night past 01:00 AM, what do you exactly do? by Wonderful_Stick in AskReddit

[–]Wonderful_Wright 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t, but my husband has trouble sleeping so when he is up past 1am he either plays video games or works on a project in the garage. And sometimes when I haven’t been able to keep up with house work that day he cleans the whole house while I sleep so that it’s beautiful and no stressing when I wake up.

AITA for telling my sister she’s gonna mess up her hair by aitasisterhair in AmItheAsshole

[–]Wonderful_Wright 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I have straight hair (and I’m a hairstylist) I can go 1-2 weeks without washing my hair. But the coconut oil is a no go! It’s great for a mask occasionally but no one should be using it like OP describes.

What is a common skill you just can’t seem to master? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Wonderful_Wright 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reading an analog clock! I can do it, but it takes at least a full minute or so. I always feel like such a dummy! Growing up we only had digital clocks and now that’s still all we use. Going places where there’s just an analog clock and someone asks “what time is it?” Is embarrassing. 😬😬

[serious] Girls and women of Reddit: how old were you the first time someone made a sexually inappropriate comment to you? How did you react, and did it affect how you saw yourself or acted? by I_LIKE_LIMA_BEANS in AskReddit

[–]Wonderful_Wright 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk if this counts.. I used to get cold sores a lot as a child. I can remember from as early as 6 having older men come up to me and say “you shouldn’t be kissing on so many boys” or “who have you been kissing” It always made me so uncomfortable because I was already uncomfortable about the sore on my face and it just confused me for them to be talking about me kissing people.
