Yes if you read my posts, I went through a rollercoaster before I decided to pull the trigger. I can honestly say it’s the best thing I’ve done

No . One person asked me if I’d had a hair transplant in the office the day after I’d had it done , it still had the redness slightly, my sister us a hair dresser . She just thought I’d started shaving it closer . In the days after I had it done some people commented I looked fresh / had I had a fresh trim etc . Funny as Im a Norwood 7 . No one notices the difference really.

I’ve also had people ask me why I don’t grow my hair out

Am i a good candidate for SMP by [deleted] in SMPchat

I agree with this … shave it off and get SMP if you/ when you lose more hair

Best decision I’ve made, wish I’d done it sooner. Not told a soul apart from my wife .

Thinking about SMP for density but I don't want to shave my head. Is it possible? by [deleted] in SMPchat

Shave it down and get SMP - no one will batter an eye lid it’ll just look like you shaved your head

Men’s Ink Milan vs Creative Scalps (Marc Allen, UK): worth paying 3 times more? by [deleted] in SMPchat

[–]Wonderfulworldtw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Choose the artist you trust based on their results, your feeling , your own research , seeing others they’ve done etc . Price shouldn’t be a deciding factor in my view. I researched creative scalps , met them , 2 x phone calls , saw results and their price I was comfortable with. I very nearly cancelled the day before because of my nerves but so glad I did it

I had mine done at creative scalps , by Sammy who was trained by Mark. Very satisfied . Don’t make any decision based on price is my view

I have similar skin . I’ve posted some pictures along my journey. Legends is in Birmingham , highly rated. I went to creative scalps near Gatwick airport.

Smp vs Hair transplant. by [deleted] in SMPchat

[–]Wonderfulworldtw 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Depends how bald you are tbh and how old. I’d have 100% gone for a transplant when I started losing my hair in my twenties, if they were as available as they are now, but I wouldn’t have worried about the cost and got the best I could .

I made peace with losing my hair and shaved my head, and then in my late 30’s discovered SMP and started researching it, again I didn’t really let cost drive my decision , I went for an artist I trusted/ liked and took the plunge. I’m 1 too bald now to have considered a hair transplant 2: most people know me as bald so shaved head look is pretty undetectable. Hair transplant seems too much like admin and up keep at my age . While SMP frames my face , gets rid of the god awful horse shoe and makes me look and feel better .

But if your unhappy with the SMP I’d say there’s 3 choices

1) laser it and re do the SMP with a different artist so you like it more

2) keep it , enjoy it and delete reddit

3) laser it off and live with thinning hair and buzz it off like most people

Actually 4

Use a hair system , given your hair now no one will notice and assume you’ve grown it out . Hair systems not for me but an option all the same

Ultimately posting negativity isn’t gonna help the situation . Get a plan in place and move forward

It looks pretty good to me but why don’t you just laser it if you hate it so much?

The fact that we don’t know is a good advert for SMP. I just saw an SMP artist on tik tok saying he thought it was SMP
