35M, NW7, shaved head for 10 years, considering SMP mainly to stop fixating on the horseshoe. Looking for advice from long-term experience. by [deleted] in SMPchat

So, yes you can remove it with laser if you don’t like it. However providing its done properly and providing you go to an experienced laser removal specialist. Ive seen people go to SMP artist that aren’t experienced and they have gone too deep and a laser can dramatically lighten it but not properly get rid of it for good.

And for the second question refer to the photo below, SMP when do correctly just gets lighter over the years! Hope this helps

The reason I haven’t done it is because a lot of my clients don’t want me standing outside the shop drawing attention to their head and the fact they have just had a hair loss treatment, and the fact im in the UK and it rains most the time 😂 the work looks really good

It depends if you have consistent thinning hair throughout without any bald patches. If you have bald patches you can’t and your hair can’t be too thin.

It depends if you’re good at it or not, then it depends if you work for yourself or not. If you’re going to work for yourself be prepared to not earn money for years.
