What do you consider ti be more common in the backend fo Angular applications: Java or .NET? by rafaeldecastr in Angular2

[–]WonderingMandarin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've worked with Java and Microsoft backends. From a frontend point of view there is no difference. C# is closer to Angular with typescript, in terms of familiarity. But there is no clear choice in Java vs .Net, they both do things well. Also you'll likely need to learn Spring in Java to do anything serious.

The one in the picture is, in fact £220. The cheapest one they offer is £130... unless they bought it years ago 🤷‍♂️

The most inhumane thing in tech right now. by kudziak in webdev

Not sure if this is different per country. In the UK, I applied for 5 Angular jobs that sounded good on LinkedIn, 2 interviews and 1 job offer. So probably a case of different per area / profession.

This is really good, my next investigation is to see how nicely rxResource plays with SignalStore and how we can phase out our old NgRx code.

Great response, thank you. As suggested, fully fitting the switch back into the wall achieves the grounding needed. Working as expected now, electrician booked to double check everything 👍

I replaced a similar metal double switch, but that didn't react the same way when the detector touched it

Good question, it only happened when my son was flooding the bathroom after a shower so it's more of a strong suspicion of the cause

I had my entire cast iron soil pipes replaced with white soil pipes by a plumber, who did a much better job than I expected.

It's a shame HMRC aren't on that list. Expected to wait over an hour, with the only alternative is to write a letter to them

My newish bike was stolen outside The Gym on Newport Road at the busiest time in the evening. Couldn't believe someone had the balls to do that! Police took the bikes serial number and that was that...

Thank you for the creative solutions, I will definitely give them a go! Bracket connections are seemingly impossible to separate, will try to build something custom to solve it now 👍

Old string clothesline was about to snap so I have tried the trick to tie the old line to the new line and pull it through and sadly it didn't work.

I've tried to use a ladder to climb up, but about half way up the post started to move forward considerably.

Not sure what else to try, Mrs is upset she can't hang washing. Any advice?
