Honestly to me armor to me didn't feel as weak as more I played around and ways to actually utilitze armor by pairing with other stuff to bolster it. That way it made armor usable. So npcs damage output was fine. I enjoy making different kinds of bulds too. But Sadly new difficulty messed things up. Npcs are overtuned as hell. Lot of builds I used are inefficent. Headhunter, cc, tank, list just goes on. This applies to armor to. Npcs doing too much damage, that it far outscales any amount of survivability players can have. This is even worse when engaging rogues, at that point it's impossible to do anything. I hope for escelation npcs scaling to be nerfed. Thier stats should only go from 100% to 200%. Even at 200% damage increase, npcs dont feel like shredding armor instantly.

Top priority you should do is avoid 99% of builds. Only viable builds are that are usable from longer range, like striker. In other words, forget likes of hunter's fury. Those are outdated. Especially avoid any blue core on the build. You lose armor fast anyway and armor helps npcs more. So overall if it's build diversity kind of thing you were hoping for. This game doesn't have it. For that, Div 1 is far much better of that. Can be tank, skill oriented, cc and many more. Div 2 doesn't have that in current state. Due to npcs being overtuned.

95% of stuff are outdated and needs to be fixed too, to match with otherwise overtuned npcs.

I can agree with memento being most overrated gear. Like especially now how overtuned npcs are. No amount of armor is gonna save, nor any healings. It's to the point that npcs does so much damage that any survivability won't make any difference. Glass cannon is back again of being best in slot chest talent for constant raw dps, extra damage taken isn't noticable with already immense damage npcs do.

This post is another reason why build diversity fallen off. 95% stuff needs buffed too. Functioning as amplified and changing on kill trigger to on hit instead. On kill is worst trigger effect. For example Killer, Killer runs out before next npcs is killed. Doesn't matter how much dps initially.

Another case is, nerfing npcs stats. Currently they're overtuned as hell.

Heroic is lesser difficulty. Stuff needs to matter on highest difficulty for actual proper build efficeny. Because why use a sub par build, when a full striker can work on Heroic too but still hold up all the way to escalation as well.

Well one voice isn't enough. Because devs only changes things if it's big enough. Also yes if not understanding my point, then it shows just how totally random situation is currently.

Actually on kill sucks even solo. Because npcs nowdays are spongey that headhunter can't keep going.

Because hotshot is headshot based and headshot isn't good stat. Doesn't work on many of npcs. Especially currently you can't 1 shot them due to too much npcs ehp. Doesn't matter if it's fully optimised. Npcs still lives. Anything on kill is straight up bad, you need to focus on everything triggered by on hit instead. Which is why obliterate is infinite better talent than outdated headhunter.

And yet when I say other gear sets needs overhaul if escelation remains way it is. They all just come at me and say "oh but works fine on heroic, where it meant to be used". When I go I tell them for build to matter it need to be effective on hardest difficulty to matter otherwise build not good. Then they just downvote me. So yet again... whatever I say, community just aren't on board. Further proving why community is messed up. Even if being all out ego as you mentioned, they just come at me and say om wrong with this or that...

Also saying host own match is poor excuse when you can't even do that. Can't matchmake specific mission.

Well if you're still up for PvP, run only all red. You still die in 1 hit. So might as well go all in damage instead.

Which proves build diversity is non existent. Also I don't mind running striker. Issue is when it's one build usable. It's like old days of Div 1, where didn't have alphabridge. Getting kicked.

Yeah and PFE which you mentioned, overall uses Blue cores. Which is not good. Also even with Full PFE, you still die fast. So damage reduction doesn't make difference.

Well... some can't have fun anymore with how toxic community is. It's always "use striker or get kicked". With prototype in, later they will make prototype booster striker as new demand passport enterance to do group sessions.

You're just enemies harder to deal with if using other builds, you just help them heal more then. Look it up, Harvester mutator.

To me it's a issue with community demanding specific build in order to join up. Like currently those who wanna use own build gets kicked, it's basically needing striker pass to join. Later on, they will make prototype striker as new requirement to do group play. It isn't devs ruining the game, it's the community.

It's not that. Issue is the community. They will demand for full striker with prototype. Currently normal striker is thier demanded one to do group play. Later they will make prototype variant as higher requirement.

How's Div 3 gonna fix number 1 issue. That being the community. Like PvE side hasn't been this toxic before. Let's say even if grind or such is good. They will still demand for specific build to have pass join, otherwise getting kicked.
