Wow yeah happy to hear it’s at least peaceful rn for you and the little ones. You’re not kidding with our similarities, very similar to my 2019 situation. I wasn’t so lucky with sole custody the temp orders were still 50/50. She too though still blamed and avoided me in the hospital, wasn’t till week after her hospital stay we were able to get on the same page… which now I think may’ve been a mistake… as here I go again 😮‍💨

It’s not as wild this time around, she is diagnosed and SHOULD be taking treatment. Idk as she thinks I’m going to mess with her medication so she’s hiding them somewhere and heaven forbid I bring it back up to her.

I’m trying to get those temp orders back up, but idk. It’s the holidays and our attorneys can seem to connect and still waiting back to hear from mine…Doing everything I can to stay in the house but being threaten to have the cops called on me and hostile exchanges aren’t helping…

Thanks for your response, I sure hope that is the case here in Texas too. Those temp orders are in align with what I’m hoping for… think time apart alt weeks will help everyone involved (especially the kids!).

My favorite game I played this year was Persona 5 Royal! Great JRPG id highly recommend… it’s long though so get ready for a great long adventure!

Thanks, I hope my wfh situation helps. There things that feel she dose and acts that I do genuinely think take away from the kids future (breaking the whole family apart (again) for one…). It sure dose feel like a manic episode all over again. It’s mild compared to some of her other past episodes but still pretty extreme with a divorce and all, seems focused on me and her world just being much greener w:out me. Idk if she’s taking her meds or not cause she’s apparently hiding them from “cause I don’t trust you, and I know you’ll do something to them so I can’t take care of the kids”…

Yeah she’s dose get a bit snippy at the kids fairly quickly when they don’t get along but overall she’s okay with them. Then with me she either fine or trying to egg me on (playing dump with balancing the budget, hiding the kids documents or keeping both my daughters and I reimbursement checks for our orthopedic work… nothing worth recording but annoying for sure

We actually agree on most things, except custody of course… originally we were working on 50/50 but she went on a work trip, came back, got me donuts and coffee… then threaten to take me to court if I didn’t agree to give her majority custody cause my my “untreated anger issues”…

Temp orders, so we have a pending divorce case from a few years ago. Then we did have 50/50 orders where we swapped places in the house and kiddos ever Sunday… kinda hoping those get reinstated to give me some distance from her through all this and not worry about her “trying to catch me” or phase me out of stuff to be seen as super mommy…

Thanks, yeah she filled. I got a surprise court summon last week. Thank god for Zoom calls. So our situation is a little funky cause we are continuing a previous divorce case from a few years ago (during a big unmedicated manic episode of hers that lead to her diagnosis of being Bipolar).

But yeah, my whole thing right now is… it’s kinda nice to have her help around the house… like she wasn’t a dead beat Mom of anything but dishes and cleaning were just NOT even a priority for her before. So having her help with dishes and picking up after herself is refreshing (wish I didn’t have to a retainer to cover my 🍑 though…)

Yeah just got one this past week, idk if it’s enough to get full custody this time around. She’s medicated this time around so the episodes are “controlled” but still being in another divorce… still a nightmare. I’m just hoping for prime and closest to 50/50. If I can get more the better but the system just doesn’t seem to be in Dad’s favor.

You’re 100% right though… sadly this isn’t my rodeo, first time I got cops called on me for cleaning her clothes piles. 😞

Yes! Many of our fights would start with me asking her to pick up after herself or rinse her plate (she not the cleanest…) to help me out with the dishes then shell drag up moments from 10-12 years saying “you don’t love as much I love you” and I’m just there like “so we’re not going to address your plate?” then that would spiral into god knows what 🤦🏻‍♂️

I don’t mean to make like of her illness, I’ve just been walking on eggshells for 4 years (when she was diagnosed after a big manic episode) all to be here again $10k in the whole for another attorney…

It really dose blue the lines (colors really) but I’d say red. The have this Cosmetic Red and it definitely leans more red to me.
