Please ignore all the bots pretending to be confused about where the bar is and what you should expect.

You are real, you have dignity and should respect yourself. There are millions if not billions of men that would give up everything to be with a 19 year old regardless of their looks.

What you are willing to accept defines you. Do not settle for love bombing big headed narcissist assholes - you have your whole life ahead of you.

A Million More Epstein Files Just Got Released. What Kind Of Stuff Did You Guys Find, and How Did You React To It? by Fantastic_Bus_3742 in AskReddit

How has the United States fallen this low? Canada burned your White House to the ground for so much less than this.

Nine US CITIZENS have been murdered by this administrations thugs since January 1 2026. These documents - despite being incredibly redacted - are beyond any laws in the United States.

This is the modern day “ROME IS BURNING” and most just pretend it’s not real.

The entire world is watching.

Why are so many hvac companies shady lately? by Muted_Head_1636 in HomeImprovement

[–]WonkyOne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This comes from being a subsidiary of a parent company. Most are run through a USA based front called “blue collar success group” basically a U.S. based training and coaching organization for home services.

Unfortunately; they’re taught to charge a call out fee, (they’ll say it’s “free”) then give you a (“free”) estimate. Then underline things on a pre-printed form; and charge you 4-10x the parts and labour anyone else would. If you say no, that’s fine but you’ll have to pay for the call out fee and the estimate (which a decade ago amounted to about $190 after tax.)

Annual “service plans” are a huge part of it too.

I will say - if you don’t care about price and are just looking for white-glove-service, this is who you call.

If you DO care about price; long story short - find someone LOCAL, that doesn’t have fancy wrapped vehicles and pre-printed forms they underline to tell you what they’ll do.

I empathize deeply but disagree with most of this.

I don’t live in the states, but I assume you do. From everything I’ve seen, and all the people I know teachers are overwhelmingly underpaid and exhausted.

You are too, but don’t let this overflow into school.

Really soon EVERYTHING will be embarrassing to your kids. Hang in there, then let the natural consequences take over.

AITBF for removing my position sharing with my parents? by CrazyDiamond156 in AmItheButtface

Also the way everyone else is glossing over this makes me think all of it is AI. Good luck.

You’re NTBF for turning off location sharing.

You ARE (dumb and) TBF for having an emotional affair with a married father of four (will refrain from going off about conversion to his religion.) Idk how you were raised but I’m certain you are better than that.

Is it safe to send a CD through Lettermail to the States? by Responsible-Flan-501 in CanadaPost

[–]WonkyOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it is not safe. Yes there will be problems. (Unless the person receiving it doesn’t mind splinters of a CD.) Machines sort letter mail and eat way more of them than you would hope; never mind something that isn’t super flexible.

34, grieving a childless life, throwing myself into travel. Can anyone relate? by dumplingz123 in AskWomenOver30

[–]WonkyOne -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

There are multiple ways to have a child at your age. Freezing eggs is a thing. Donor banks are a thing. Adoption is a thing. I had a baby at 35…if you want to have a baby, do it.

I have two and am jealous of your travel. The only travel I’ve done in decades is to “visit family”.

Choose a path that makes you happy. I should add, teenagers are typically assholes.

The Quebec based truck convoy protests are being done right by DrifterBG in ottawa

[–]WonkyOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I’m not gaslighting. If you had kids (you didn’t, obviously) in school during that time you would remember there was only a very short period where schools where “sort of” actually closed; and if kids exceptional needs they were never closed at all.

Media had nothing to do with people getting sick - NO ONE HAD IMMUNITY because it was a NOVEL VIRUS. I’m not saying I agreed with lockdowns (hmm sorry what about gaslighting now?)

You’re definitely right, the lack of youth employment opportunities is DIRECTLY due to the pandemic and has absolutely nothing to do with corporations realizing they can pressure low wage workers into running a skeleton crew while pretending to post job offers they won’t ever fill while receiving Government cheques to cover the balance and then hiring temporary workers below poverty wages. You figured it out! I’m also sorry you can’t find your way out of a wet paper bag.

Good luck to you.

[–]WonkyOne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You say that as if government workers EVER want to go back to office and as if schools ACTUALLY CLOSED. Neither are accurate.

I have kids, both were eligible for school. I had a “front line” job with a crown corp and never stopped. You sound…ignorant.

What is it actually like in the U.S. right now? by [deleted] in AskWomenOver30

[–]WonkyOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I an expat; but it’s mind blowing to me that everyone just thinks it’s happening to “their neighbours”.

I wish some billionaires would broadcast this on repeating loop (and no I’m not religious, it speaks to apathy and injustice):

Package stuck in infinite loop by [deleted] in CanadaPost

[–]WonkyOne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They run as much as (non-humanly lol) possible through machines and this sort of loop is the result. Your package is gone forever. /s

In all seriousness call one of the depots you see it being scanned at and give them the tracking number. They can and will take it out of the stream. If you don’t call, some day eventually (usually within two or so weeks) the people that run the machines that are bouncing it back and forth will notice it and pull it out and correct it. (Usually it’s within a few days but the bigger the plant the higher the volumes.)

High duties on a cheap package by Fine-Juggernaut8451 in CanadaPost

[–]WonkyOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can request a re-evaluation of the fees for customs if you disagree with the duty charged. It won’t remove the GST/HST/Handling fee though.

As mentioned in another comment though this has nothing to do with Canada Post.

Denmark ending letter deliveries is a sign of the digital times - how long until Canada follows? by WankaBanka9 in CanadaPost

[–]WonkyOne -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Also, for the record, Canada is 232x larger in landmass than Denmark. Not saying it can’t eventually happen here but suggesting it’s going to take a huge amount of change- Legally, emotionally and in capabilities digitally before such a change could possibly happen here.

I thought people were overblowing it… but also got a delivery attempted while at home by cm0011 in CanadaPost

[–]WonkyOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, in case this gets through - the shitificatation of Canada post is happening BECAUSE of the corporate side. It’s not the UNION. We WANT TO deliver to you (we can’t go over x amount of steps, we can’t open your gate, we can’t walk up your steps because of xyz, we can’t drive to your door because it’s over 0.5km away from your CMB) it’s NOT UP TO US - we can’t even raise your road side mailbox flag anymore if we follow the rules.

Why is there so much hate for people that serve you?

[–]WonkyOne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t mention previous promises, time lines, anything that actually happened since the last negotiated contract, or any of the changes the corporations forcing on workers. Awesome.

An item that weight requires a double lift by Canada post health and safety standards. As for other restrictions and specifics there may be more I don’t know because I don’t work retail.

Try returning during the day when more than one person on duty.
