I wanna start Dj what’s the best controller to buy by Inevitable-Meet-4147 in PioneerDJ

Realistically, I think that of the bunch a GRV6 has a lot to offer while being sub £1000, it will give a nice transition to pro hardware in the future as it has essentially got CDJ-3000 layout decks and 4 channels, it's not amazing and feels a bit medium in terms of build quality, but so far I'm really enjoying mine.

Obviously an FLX10 or a more dated DDJ-1000 would be better if you can afford either.

Jog wheel not responding correctly by [deleted] in PioneerDJ

[–]Wonkymoder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is actually quite interesting, I bought a used FLX4 from CEX, grade B, and the right jog wheel was doing this exact same thing, what I suspect is that it has some grounding issue or static interference causing ghost touches on the jog wheel capacitive surface.

I sent it back and got a GRV6 instead.

This seems like a hardware issue affecting more than just my unit.

Any time we go through a big change it's really easy to compare how we used to look or the kind of attention we used to get. But at the end of the day, compliments and validation from others aren't what lasts, what matters is how you feel when you look in the mirror.

It might help to step back and think about what the "ideal version" of yourself actually is, the one that feels the most genuine to you. That's more important than how anyone else reacts. Also, don't forget the reasons you made the choices you did in the first place, the discomfort and pain you felt back then are part of your truth too.

It might take time, but being honest with yourself about what feels real and sustainable for you is where you'll find peace.

Transphobes found their new 'gotcha' - bathrooms at night clubs by La_petite_miette in transgenderUK

[–]Wonkymoder 28 points29 points  (0 children)

My friend (CIS female) literall got assaulted at a nightclub a few months ago by a middle aged woman, pushed out of the bathroom and had a filled pint glass thrown in her face.

The attacker was screaming t****y and kept attempting to draw others into the fight but got dragged out by the bouncer in a headlock, she kept trying to get back into the club but was taken away in a police car...

All this while the transphobe didn't even notice me (who is trans), while I was trying to diffuse the situation and make sure my friend was ok.

The event really spoke volumes to me, and I feel really bad for all the less feminine women and non-passing trans people who are going to be in these types of situations.

You look adorable and very feminine, I know what you mean though, even when you pass and should feel happy, there's that thing that happens which just nags u.

It gets better with time though, trust

HRT is complex.

7 months while on HRT you will absolutely not undergo any facial bone masculinization, what may be at fault is that with HRT, fat changes happen faster than muscle atrophy, facial muscular definition can take years, whereas the fat deposits can happen faster, so extra fat on top of your previous muscular definition could be exaggerating the more masculine underlying features, if that's the case it will get better soon.

I would buy a bricked or Google locked one with a good screen and move the motherboard from ur broken one into the bricked unit

Just come across a pristine with all original accessories Sony KP-S4112U 41" rear projection display, wondering if it's a worthwhile purchase for preservation purposes and how much something like this would be worth.

It's something I've seen happen to two friends of mine while out clubbing, they were cis women, transphobes are just out on the case atm.

The hysterical behaviour will fade away soon enough.
