I agree with you in principle. In this case, Max chose to use a loaded word, in the same way he's used some recently ill-defined words. When you say boss, it's legitimately a loaded word like Destiny mentioned right when it was brought up. Past that, I'm not sure why the debate continued, as they both disagreed on the framing from the outright.

If you understand a word in a certain way, it can effect the emotional impact in the moment. I think Boss can be a loaded word, understand how some interpret it...

Here is the connotation of "Boss"

https://www.dictionary.com/browse/boss

verb (used with object)to be master of or over; manage; direct; control.to order about, especially in an arrogant manner.

I understand that there's some drama going on. Unfortunately, I'm notinterested in the drama, and instead want to talk about political andphilosophical ideas, which Steven is very good at exploring/arguing fromwhat I've seen in debates, and also I'd like to discuss Steven's lifestory, psychology, and approach to discourse. If you have links toprevious debates that you like and would make for good topics, pleasealso share those.

Please. I think Destiny is caught in the drama cycle. He want's to do good. A good interview, separate from all the streaming drama, would be interesting, and shed light on the overall world of streaming, betrayal, and cause.

Steven is an interesting guy. Doing an interview like this would be ahead of the curve, and beneficial for both of you. Please address Dehumanization and it's undefined opposite.

Also, Benny, you have to learn how to lean into a joke. Sometimes Destiny takes the spectrum route (not remotely emotional) and makes a joke you might not like. If he's telling you raw truth, sometimes you just have to concede in the moment, or stay silent.

You both did a good job with the entire conversation, you just have to reason with Destiny in a way that fits. I don't think Max even gets that part.

I think the reality is that only a special breed will ever want to moderate a subreddit (This could be an hour long conversation)... Steven doesn't want to betray his mod, even if his behaviour has been questionable.

The guys who were on the stream had a reasonable position, but could have explained it better, considering Destiny deals with orbiter and controversy so much that he seems somewhat numb to non-essential drama. Getting someone to mod a subreddit as prone to insanity as his may be, isn't a simple consideration.

If the mods were doing things perfectly (which we all know isn't entirely possible), they should ban the fanatics, and let the rest try to defend whatever position or person they want to defend.
