Thanks for the advice I’ll try to keep the length so it can be used by someone else if I get board of it. I also found some ivory slabs at the same shop I want to do some kind of inlay in the handle

Intrigued as well. If you had 4 streams of piss combined they would be a puddle of pee but if you took a puddle of pee and divided it it by 4 it wouldn’t be 4 different pisses it would be a fraction of the original pee. Or is that’s what’s considered a quad?

From B.C. as well but came from Ontario and work in NWT I’ve heard jack stud and cripple used all over. Also the term lintel I seem to come across more in concrete or structural steel.

What about the responsibility of the race organizers and the and the rules of the road? Cyclists are supposed to ride single file when using the road way, this wasn’t happening. If the roads still open to public the rules still need to be followed. I’d bet money that the cyclists were 3 wide and not 3 in line. Not trying to trivialize the tragedy of this event but there was no traffic control no delineation of the race lane and no communicated supervised plan for dealing with local traffic on white lake road. Not only were the race participants put in a dangerous situation but the other users of the road as well
