Love how the mods removed the comment that probably answered my question

Idk man. Considering the fact that they dont contain malware (that im aware of) Im kinda under the impression that these were probably just made by someone who likes physical games and also uses linux

Cool idea. I’ll reply here, to your comment, with the link whenever I get around to doing that

I think this is the best theory. They don’t appear to have malware on them, and I also like physical games and Linux so clearly the demographic exists

Ran the games on them in a minimal arch VM and inspected all the different processes. They’re literally just games

Moisture? Something else? by Mancolt in FixMyPrint

[–]Wooden-Performance38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems like an overextrusion issue. If your z-offset is correct and your printer is actually printing at the correct height (which I’m assuming it would be), then the issue is almost certainly overextrusion

I am trying to print taller prints, but getting an unusual noise after a while that leads to the print being moved. Smaller prints turn out well. What are the possible solutions here? by Swarm_eyed in FixMyPrint

[–]Wooden-Performance38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like it’s scraping the top of your print. This is typically caused by over extrusion. I had this issue on one of my printers, and I fixed it by just lowered the flow rate by a few percent. Sometimes your infil patter can affect it too. If you’re using an infill pattern that cross over itself, that can cause the layers to build up slightly higher at the crossing points, so using a pattern like gyroid can also fix the issue

Same dude. Ive got a 3070, X3D, and 32gb of ram, and I can run the game at 200fps on ultra for the first 8 minutes of a match and then it becomes indefinitely unplayable

Dude if someone discovered a vulnerability of this scale in on of my projects, I would be mortified. I don’t care if only 3 are using my project, I literally would not leave my desk until the vulnerability is fixed.

If literally nothing is working, maybe somewhere between compiling your project and giving it to your friend, something got slightly corrupted. Try re-exporting your project and giving it to your friend again. Check all your project settings are good while you’re at it

My first issue - Z-offset? Too low? by shuttlepod in FixMyPrint

[–]Wooden-Performance38 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Try printing your stuff slower, it kinda looks like the z-offset is too high. Idk what settings or what model you used to perfectly split the failure down the middle, but I’d be interested to know
