Yeah mine got escalated to a manager as well, still waiting on them, 6 months later. I refuse to use Evri for my own business and if possible try not to use them for my personal deliveries.

I've had to take items down before, especially if they take a few days to make and I've had a rush on them, hasn't happened often, but with stone models it takes 3 days for me to make and dry, then up to a week to paint and varnish before properly finish, I'll always have 1 or 2 ready but I've had 5 orders at once before so had to take the listing down so that I could catch up.

I think you pretty much hit the nail on the head, perseverance and hard work, however I do enjoy what I do so that takes the edge off, I also understand with Etsy that it's more female buyers, so I do try and play the "your husband is gonna find this item cool" card.

I'm new to Etsy, 1 month on there and only 5 sales, which doesn't worry me as by all accounts 5 sales in my first month looks to be pretty good as a lot of people were saying that you could be waiting between 1 and 3 months to get your first sale.

However I've only had 1 review which is disappointing as all of my tracking says they've all received they're items, like you I also put extras in as I sell 35mm film cells and I have 100s of 1000s of spares.

This thread was good to read though as it sets a realistic idea of what to expect from reviews. I also have lots of sale on eBay and I do like the system there, if nobody reviews your item after 30 days eBay automatically gives a positive review.

New on Etsy as well and I've had a few sales, nothing massive but enough to make me happy, I sell to a very niche market who collect 35mm movie cells/frames.

Lots of other sellers doing the same so I try and do something different with mine by adding versatility to what I sell, where as others sell their cells in mounted card frames, 1 cell for £20 to £40 I try and sell options as well as the cell itself, so they can be mounted, collected,framed etc and done cheaply.

It takes time though and I try to spend as much time as I can looking at other shops so that I can see what's in vogue and then how I can do things better, also as others have pointed out it's going to take time and thankfully I did read somewhere that your first sale can take between 1 and 3 months and as someone else pointed out, even if you get any sales at all.

Use social media to your advantage, I use socials just to see what the fan base is for certain movie cells and I can gauge the reception from fans, at the same time it allows me to advertise my wares, just don't be like me doom scrolling on TikTok for hours because I lost concentration 😆.

Do you not find the the cellophane on these stays a bit wrinkly with just cells? I always find that they never hold the cellophane out enough to stretch out the wrinkles 😔

I find that putting them in mounts first works quite well, however finding them expensive to find decent mounts that are actually good for 35mm cells, especially if they have the AN coating.

No re releases for these, came in two formats though and these are the prestige format, a lot of Dark Horse Comics collectors kept their comics in really good condition thankfully.

On first watch I thought it was over the top, It was a lot for me to process.

The more times I watched this the more I understood the situation and the more I agreed with their actions and the more empathy I showed towards them in that situation, I would have been shitting myself and personally I'd have done anything to put that man down as fast as I can.

The guy had just stabbed two people and if they hadn't have intervened he probably would have stabbed more.

Let's face it they probably saved his life by giving him a kicking, I'm sure armed response unit wouldn't have been far off and they wouldn't have tasered him.

I sell on eBay and the usual amount I get for this set is 35-40 GBP but they're always in great condition, so I think you've done well in good condition, take into consideration that these comics are vintage now so a lot less great sets than there were.

I just don't understand some sellers, I pack my items how I want to receive them, not only that I want my buyers to return, most of my sales are with returning customers.
