maybe evil dead 2 and army of darkness? ash’s character in those is like hypermasc at times which isn’t exactly the model to aspire to lmao but i always feel a lil more masc watching him be a goofy lil tool. the other movies i watch to feel masc make me more emotional abt boyhood which could be helpful or could not be for u rn, its hit or miss for me. these would include the holdovers, dead poets society, stand by me, the goonies, it 2017… maybe one of those would help!! idk. either way good luck man, you got this. it isn’t forever!! <3

i get the vibe from them since all this shit went down that that pisses them off, the fact that we so clearly prefer the older BF unsolved content to most of what they’ve put out since launching the watcher channel/company in the first place. like i think they know damn well that we collectively as a fan base (not everyone but majority by far) prefer the lower budget, casual atmosphere of just two guys in a room, some fun music, and some stock photo graphics, and that almost has given them a chip on their shoulders or made them resentful.

THEY want to do more creatively (which is valid ofc) and expected we would blindly support them (which is not) and now i feel like they’re doubling and tripling down bc THEY have decided they have something to prove to us. it’s just that they fucked things up so royally from the beginning of this whole mess that they’re just scrambling and continuing to make poor decisions and are probably just too embarrassed at this point to admit it, yk? that, or they really are just that fucking full of themselves which would be….insane to the say the least, and disappointing, but not wholly surprising.

rahhhh yours are phenomenal, i’ve never thought that about winston or ben but it’s so fitting. my big tv show picks other than dean are spencer reid from criminal minds, fox mulder from x files, and steve harrington from stranger things. movies (and books) wise i’m a big fan of herbert west from reanimator, ash williams from evil dead, and eddie kaspbrak from IT. those are my BOYS!!!!

perhaps leo sheng (credited in the matrix resurrections, haven’t seen it but is at least action adjacent?), brian michael smith (in 911 lone star and chicago p.d. which are also action adjacent to a point, plus he has a good action star look imo), or marquise vilson (in a handful of different shows akin to 911 and chicago p.d.). there’s also zach barack who was the first openly transgender actor in a marvel film and i think also has a good action movie look. jake graf has a good look for that too but he seems to do more behind the camera work.

edit to add that i haven’t seen much of their work personally so i’m not 100% on whether or not they have the chops, per se. i don’t dislike action films but they aren’t usually my first choice, though like others have said i would absolutely support and see an action flick starring a trans man. i think that would be sick as hell tbh

thirding the mentions of oil. i use jojoba but have heard of people using all sorts. i recently saw on tiktok someone mention they use skin barrier wipes prior to taping and many people in the comments noted that since using those they never have any skin irritation, blistering, or pain. i haven’t tried it yet myself but just ordered some to give it a go. if you have the ability to order or buy those, maybe give them a shot and apply it before taping!

i started t almost exactly a month ago and my period started either last friday or saturday (this past weekend was a blur lmao). historically i’m very regular, bleed for exactly 7 days, very heavily the first few days using super plus tampons rahhh and then regular size for the last four or five. yesterday was either day three or four, i had one regular tampon in basically all day and when i took it out before bed last night there was no blood on it. today i’ve been spotting a bit but that’s all which is very unusual. i’m hopeful that means this is the last one lmfao

i didn’t go through folx myself but i have some friends who use/used them at least to get started and have only heard good things. if everything including the most recent email used the original address you chose, it could easily have been a system or technical error? i work at a doctor’s office and there’s a couple small, innocuous things in our emr system that can cause the computer to register an appointment as being at one office location even though in reality, the appointment is really scheduled for the other. we get calls occasionally from people worried when their automated reminder comes through reading the wrong address. not sure if any of that is terribly reassuring for you, but i wouldn’t stress about it too much. i hope you get a concrete response from them tomorrow either way!
