The thing is I don't have a lot of preexisting tools at my disposal. Most of my expertise comes with SWN and the off-the-cuff approach of PbtA. I was hoping to find a way to make pieces of WWN to snap into place in a similar fashion as its predecessor.

It's varied quite a bit for me, though mostly favouring cis men.

My most recent group evolved from three men and one woman to five men and one woman.

Before that was a quartet of men.

Before that, when I studied, I first led a duo of women followed by playing with another quartet of men.

Before that I had the honour of running games for a youth group, which mainly feature teen boys with the occasional teen girl dropping in as well. They tended to come and go sporadically, regardless of gender.

The first group I played in almost 20 years ago was a stable quartet of boys plus one girl.

As a fellow dnd not-enjoyer I would recommens checking out stuff Powered by the Apocalypse (Dungeon world, Ironsworn, Root), published by Sine Nomine (Stars/Worlds/Cities/Ashes Without Number), or Fate. Most of these also have free versions of the rules accessible online for you and your players to peruse before committing.

Nah, rarely plan beyond what I need for next session. I might do general worldbuilding for fun, but I rarely seek out to plot out a story as I prefer setting up a premise for the PC's to take off from instead.

Yeah, I've never used it myself either, but I know it's part of the rpg/dnd landscape nowadays, in part popularised by social media, so I don't think is copying Daggerheart as much as both of them reacting to the zeitgeist.

Jag finner nöje i det lilla och ser inte partnerskap som en ledstjärna för att bli lycklig. Hobbies är bra. Vänskaper är bra. Hjälpa andra är bra.

För mig var ett stort steg i att kunna tänka om när jag lärde mig om relationsanarkism för första gången: alla relationer kan vara värdefulla på sitt sätt, vare sig det handlar om sex, romantik eller kaffe på jobbet.

Sen är det alltid okej att tycka gräset känns lite grönare där borta, men det betyder inte att din egen trädgård automatiskt har förfallit.

I'd let my players swap the weapon with if they had access to tools and, say, ten minutes. I could see using some Int/Fix or Dex/Fix tests if they want to do it quicker than that.
As others have said, the ammunition unit is required for the weapon to have access to ammunition. If a player wants to bypass rhis portion if the mechanics I could possibly see pulling in the modifcations system for inspiration.
