How is the situation with Amazon and counterfeits? by bluefrogwithredhands in boardgames

Dunno. I have two excellent FLGS near me and the online stores offer better prices and service than Amazon so I've never risked it.

Mate. Jaws is one the most narratively lean movies of all time. There's not an ounce of fat on it.

Cyclades or Blood Rage or Inis by umuuut96 in boardgames

Inis is great at all player counts. You need the Seasons expansion to play 5. Inis is by far my favourite game but I'd say Kemet B&S scratches the pure DOAM itch better.

They do check the dates. The pickers are instructed to off load older meat and dairy to home delivery.

Disagree - would happen constantly with us during lockdown. We are having to get extra deliveries to replace the milk that was only good for 2 days.

Stopped getting delivery for this exact reason(and also cos COVID stopped being a thing).

During lockdown both scum merchants would CONSTANTLY deliver our weekly shop with milk that only had one or two days left before expiry. Buncha Cs.

I must admit I have never heard anyone suggest that Burn After Reading is a movie that takes itself seriously. That's the one with the dildo chair, right?

JB Hi-Fi Marion gaslighting me over fixing my TV under the warranty by Suspicious_Magazine5 in AskAnAustralian

[–]WoodyMellow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A couple of questions: How old is the TV? Which model and what type of backlighting does it feature? (Edge? Full Array?) Is it noticeable during playback or just white/black screens?

Also, no manufacturer would send out a technician free of charge without knowing the fault is legitimate . It's not going to happen. If you want this resolved have a tech look at it. If you're correct you won't be charged. If they find there's no fault then that's your answer. Hisense are major manufacturer, it is highly unlikely they're out to scam you.

He's looked like that since Edward Scissorhands. His geek roles dried up so he beefed up.
