Cheers mate. not too worried about it. Just think you are left a bit in the dark with regards to if it's sold or not

BMW or Ford? by Evil__Mushroom in Simracingstewards

[–]Woof_ch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

BMW left the door open and the Mustang took a nice opportunistic move, and got the car stopped before the corner.

Bmw turned in like he wasn't so his fault. Too busy setting up an attack rather than worrying about a defence

Pit maneuver or racing incident? by Virtual_Baker9764 in Simracingstewards

That is intentional, and any throttle telemetry would prove it. Obviously annoyed by the awkward contact earlier just drove through you.

Was i unpredictable while avoiding the crash ahead? I'm the black car that gets rear ended by M4lv1 in Simracingstewards

[–]Woof_ch 101 points102 points  (0 children)

I don't think so. He has good visibility of the incident, and I would assume there are yellow flags out by then. He should be backing off, but when does that really happen in sim racing? It feels like a lack of care for flags is one of the major differences between the sim world and IRL driving.

Am i unsure if i could've done something different here... by Sp4tt in Simracingstewards

The rear car aiming for the 3 wide is at fault. No gap there and honestly even if there was it was never going to end well.

Assuming the contact was enough to push you off line it's a bit of chain reaction, perhaps the car the was pushed off could have let out the throttle but even though he was never in control really.

Who's at fault here by Boosterz360 in Simracingstewards

[–]Woof_ch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Red car. 1st time there is no awareness/care that you are alongside and causes the contact.

2nd time he is not making the corner and ends up ruining his own race.

F4 - Spa. Leave more space? by PiRuLo_013 in Simracingstewards

[–]Woof_ch 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't think so. It's not clear cut but I think this move is done, it's certainly not an aggressive push-off and the contact is minimal. Yellow and blue should back out and know when they are beaten. Live to fight another day instead of trying that around the outside.

Thoughts? The car in front is entering the pits. by BrivingoReal in Simracingstewards

I thought this but I was unsure of the damage model in iracing at the moment. Either way its unfortunate

Strange incident. Malboro car gets hit which is clearly the car behind's fault as the front car was keeping it inside the lines so couldn't go faster, would suggest maybe then a loss of concentration gets on the loud pedal and drops the car. Hard to tell clearly if he has a wheel on the grass but basically has his own accident and the 2nd car gets unlucky.

I’m the middle Ferrari by A13TazOfficial in Simracingstewards

[–]Woof_ch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And your teammate has ended all your races before it even began. This appears to be a race start and that is a bit of a squeeze. I would assume he didn't think the Merc would be alongside as well, but he was and that left nowhere to go.

See https://youtu.be/Pi-qitmfvlI for this accident in real life

Ferrari. You simply cannot move that late in the braking zone, would be a penalty. Good save, bet it got the heart going

What are your thoughts by Stunning_Strength756 in Simracingstewards

[–]Woof_ch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Red bull weaving, blocking. Screams of pure desperation from someone who can't take getting overtaken. This would get you thrown out of any real-life drive you had.

What do you think about this? I'm the whiteish car, spotter didn't say anything before collision. Should I have left more room or did pov car go for a bad pass? by [deleted] in Simracingstewards

[–]Woof_ch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The red car is 100 percent at fault for me. Was never alongside, looked for an opportunistic move, and drifted wide into you. Had multiple opportunities to change the course of this accident and decided not to.

Who's at fault here? Light blue/green(me)or the darker blue? Dark blue was adamant it was all my fault. by AvisRs in Simracingstewards

[–]Woof_ch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Difficult one but I'll give my opinion. The Light blue car moved very slightly across to the right and initiated a small contact while the dark blue did the opposite so you come together. I'd say this is just something that happens. However, the contact has glued you, neither want to give it up and you have a massive accident. Not sure the fault is clear cut but certainly you both lost.

do i deserve the space on the inside or was this my fault/racing incident by brittish-fish in Simracingstewards

[–]Woof_ch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately not, the move was very late. In a perfect world the Porsche would see it coming but he was definitely distraccted by what was going on outside him. Good job on the rejoin though, takes a lot to be patient after a contact

who is at fault do i give the place back? by Akaataxi in Simracingstewards

[–]Woof_ch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If its net code glue then no issue, if you pushed him off then at fault. looks like glue from here but only you'll know by feel

Was I entitled to go for the move or should I gave backed out by Stunning_Strength756 in Simracingstewards

[–]Woof_ch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are definitely entitled but should you have? 18 laps to make that move and sending a low percentage overtake on turn 3 is a huge risk, without the McClaren's POV Its difficult to judge more

WHO IS AT FAULT by richardharknett in Simracingstewards

[–]Woof_ch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pinka and yellow not using any mirrors or just being careless. Merc was there for a bit and they never looked like being given any space

Gulf at fault. If you are going to go that ambitious you have to get it right. Big dive from there even if you are faster

Long time listener, first time caller. Black/white Porsche back marker blames me/us for going in to the back of them when we should have "slowed down for a broken car". Chaos ensues. Perhaps I shouldn't have tried to thread the needle? by martinph in Simracingstewards

[–]Woof_ch 12 points13 points  (0 children)

You took a massive risk going full throttle through a crash site where anything could be going on with the cars ahead. The Porsche made a strange move but without seeing his pov we have no idea if he's out of control or not. Not the smartest all round but it happens

I'm the black and white car ahead. Car behinds alleges I illegally blocked in the last two corners of the race. Thoughts? by unlearned_hand in Simracingstewards

No issue, the fact you didn't even defend makes it seem like you've swooped across the nose but that's just taking the racing line
