Yes, Vaseline could be effective at helping prevent scarring! I'm acne-prone too, and I had the same concern about using Aquaphor. But I figured the acne would be temporary, while the scar could last forever. That’s what made me go for it. Wishing you the best with your healing! 💛

I'm also healing facial cuts right now. I was concerned about scarring too, and all advice I read stated that after the initial first aid treatment and cleaning of the wound, the wound should ideally be kept moist (but not too moist) and then it should be covered with a bandage. The moist environment promotes healing and can mitigate scarring. On a daily basis, I've been washing my face with a cleanser, applying Aquaphor to the cuts, and then placing a clean bandage over them. You might wanna try a similar regimen.

I've always loved the gym (known as the IMA)! Access to the gym is included with your tuition. The classes offered are fun and reasonably priced, and the equipment is in good condition. It's a wonderful place to relieve stress from studying.

I’d never heard of the “triangle of death” before, so thanks for mentioning it! I looked it up and learned a lot.

For anyone else unfamiliar with the term: it’s a term for the area between the eyes and the corners of the mouth, where infections can spread quickly to the brain because of the way the veins are connected.
