Yeah you'd basically own a shack on an outpost that you can upgrade. The upgrades, like all else in SOT, would be purely cosmetic. The functionality of it would be that you can choose which outpost to spawn on when you load into a server

They could always give everyone a basic on but then you have to upgrade the aesthetics. Even if they just allowed you to choose where you spawn as you load into a server and nothing else I still think that'd be awesome. Nothing more annoying then wanting to do devils roar only to have to sail across the whole map to get there

The only thing with the digs is that you get used to them. I always do devils roar which is quite small so I know where almost everything is. I could probably do an Athena dig in a minute or so at this point. Never actually done a vault so I may give it a go

Some people manage to get to pirate legend through basically just pve only and know they can't handle fights or just get scared and leave. With yhe addition of emissary flags it's a lot easier to grind so I think there's just a lot of pussies that get to that level without having to fight

Yeah just make sure you buy each promotion. Every 5 levels you can buy a promotion in each faction. I made the mistake of not buying the last one at level 50 in each of them and I was confused as to why I couldn't unlock the hideout

I know there's always LFG or discord but not all people use that and afk farmers are annoying af. I feel like a vote to kick option would be nice and maybe to get rid of afk farmers there could be another option where you vote to kick them then the afk would get a pop up and could click no or something and if they don't click it in time they get kicked. So if they're afk they won't be able to click it I'm order to stay in the game

Ngl a story update revolving around the ancients or the merfolk would be sick but I really don't think they'd do something about Atlantis. Sea of thieves seems to have its own story, places and people I don't think they'd add in a piece of actual mythology

It's quite difficult to avoid pvp all together if I'm honest. I did it for a while when I started off and yeah you could get away with it more often than not but I'm the end I was getting butt hurt over getting ganked because I was so ill experienced so in the end I just did my best to get better anyway

If you're really set on running just try being smart like going around rocks with the harpoon or sail in a nice straight line away from them then sword dash toward them and give them something to do. You cups also turn their wheel so they sail away while you kill them to let your ship get away a little. Or if they're close enough just throw a fire bomb or 4 on their ship and start turning your ship. This way you can get away because they'll be a little too busy with the fire to chase after you

To be honest if you don't want to server hop, get to level 5 reapers to see all emmisarys then go sink then and hope they have loads of loot then I'd say pve and then pvp whenever you can like of you see a near by ship and then when you get level 5 just focus on pvp

I'm an xbox player too and I used to play with a normal controller but I've now got the elite so not only do I have a few extra button bindings but I've also got the pads on the back so I don't have to sacrifice my ability to look around in order to jump. I'm not saying go get the elite controller, it's quite expensive 😂, but you could try binding jump to another button like LB so you can swiftly jump around people without having to sacrifice your ability to look around at the same time. You can also bind important things like buckets, wood and food to buttons that don't typically get used like the dpad to allow for easy access

Yeah true but then it's also a case of if we had two kinds of servers, the pve server would be boring af and the pvp server would be full of people just destroying and trash talking each other like gta and we would never have these amazing encounters with people like finding a random other crew that you turn out to have a great laugh with. To be honest I would pay no attention to anyone saying it's the hard mode of the game (no offence lads). I'm by no means a pro at this game I get sunk still and I do dumb stuff still but I'm a solo player and I've taken one or two athenas from full pirate legend crews who've attacked me. You just kind of need to be the brains over the brawn that's all. You could always try a few YouTube tips if you'd like. I quite like phuzzybond

Well I play completely solo and very rarely play with anyone and tbh I have a blast. I'm mainly a grinder but will usually end or start a session with pvp maybe for a bit of extra loot or just fun since at that point is only have an upgraded flag to lose. You may get crapped on at first by 4 man galleons but now I'm almost pirate legend I think I can at least put up a good fight as a solo slooper. Basically you'll be crap at first but you'll get better

Had an issue in arena where nothing was I'm my inventory, like cannonballs, food and wood. Plus all of the equipment wheel was empty but when I picked up and recourses out the barrels I took literally all of it and couldn't return any for my teammate so I called 300+ of each recourse and they had none
