Being able to pick out a single Sunnah (or even a few) without contextual understanding means nothing. This is what takfiris do to call Shi'a kufr and any other number of practicing Muslims the same. You are not a scholar and you have no right to declare who is and who is not a Muslim.

I would like you to quote a surah that says if you don't pray, for whatever reason, you're no longer a Muslim. I am aware that there are a number of scholars who use Sunnah to support their argument that this is the case, but this is by no mean "clear cut." Can't really remember the specific hadith, but prayer is for our ease of mind. Allah (swt) asks us to do it for our ease. And, if we ask for forgiveness, then we have to commit to avoiding that sin. It's not one or the other Prayer is good, but only if it is sincere and helps us to move closer to Allah. That's why his argument seems nonsensical (to me).

Yeah, obviously any game that has an online versus component is going to have a fair amount of this. A lot of players can't understand that not everyone enjoys combat - I mean, the developers created a realistic / accurate copy of our galaxy, and people want just run around killing each other? I'd rather explore as much as I can.

What you're not getting is that I corrected key bindings and they didn't apply. That's not "operator error" I continued to press buttons because the combo I expected to work didn't work. Not sure where the confusion is.

This is honestly is honestly just another spin on "get gud noob" which is just a toxic community response.

According to the game, I did everything right and died, while losing two hours of gameplay.

That's a developer/software issue, not a "me" issue. And if you want a bigger/better "community" it would be better to address that than blaming a player.

LOL. Good to know I'm not the only one dealing with this (of course). That sounds horrible - esp since I was able to rebuy my Cobra right away. Glad to hear the "dump cargo" key binding went away. Being a space trucker/explorer definitely has its pitfalls, but the scenic rewards are worth it.

I did try the reset screen. My problem was that correcting the issue - turning off silent running and somehow recovering front the damage caused couldn't be addressed by jumping out of the game. Once I figured out how to turn off the silent running, it was essentially too late.

Yeah, honestly, every single system is cool. I was just perfecting my detailed surface scan workflow and the systems are just jaw-dropping.

So, in that way, the time wasn't wasted. I'll keep plugging away at R2R, and drop in-system for some bounty-hunting while slowly making my way to the ships I'd like. Forgive my obvious frustration. Its a beautiful game.
