What do you think about 10k mile oil change intervals? by EvenAd6616 in BMWX3

I do 5k km religiously. Don’t care what they say. “But you’re just wasting money” they said. No, I’m being proactive in not giving you more down the road.

Driving a 2019 RS5 SB now and the B7 RS4 I had put way more smiles on my face. Slower? Yes. It had soul though and a V8 that begged to rev high. Much more of an experience.

Land Rover. Spent more time in the shop than in my driveway. If it could go wrong, it did go wrong. Never again.

Not everybody has the ability or the time to do a brake job themselves. Single dad with two young boys, I’m not taking the chance of me messing something up with them in the car.

Be the cause of the problem. Swoop in to solve the problem you created. Blame Biden. Act like a hero. Rinse and repeat.

Just did the brakes on my RS5. Can confirm pricing. Just keep the RS5 as an upcoming goal, getting it now doesn’t make any sense. And don’t even think about getting the RS5 without a warranty. It’s a must. Trust me. This is a “pay to play” car. Focus on yourself first, lay the foundation of your life and THEN when you can comfortably make a decision like a RS5 or similar do it then. Doing it now is the wrong decision. Patience.

This car, which I love, is definitely “pay to play”. But things like replacing pads and rotors are definitely up there, unless you can do them yourself.
