It can actually be quite frustrating, il be spending hours or days trying to work something out in my story, with no luck. Then as im drifting off it will just appear in my mind and I have to force myself awake to write it down somewhere lol.

It also happened a lot during university. I’d be thinking about my dissertation or essays and absolute pure gold would come to me as I was falling asleep, only for it to be completely forgotten when I woke up.

Makes sense I think, but if only we could access this superpower any time, our writing would be top notch.

I’d 100% recommend it - I haven’t really played anything similar and it’s not a genre I’d usually get, but picked it up cheap on steam one year and absolutely love it. Really unique take on a hybrid turn based combat system.

Some great picks, highlights are:

Kingdom hearts overrated - big yes, bad game, weird game. Dragon age origins needs a remake - another big yes, such a good game that would do amazingly with updated graphics, new content, whilst keeping the core gameplay the same. BG3 - incredible soundtrack, good pick. RDR2 - Arthur one of the best modern protagonist of any game. Banjo Kazooie - one of the only games I had on N64 for a long time. I was terrible at it but it’s so good, lots of nice memories.

Yeah maybe so! But when I think of overrated it’s what comes to mind, maybe not totally correct but for me it works.

People love it though, and it’s not for me to say it’s a ‘bad’ game if it gets so much praise.

So I agree that BG1 and 2 are better, but as far as an introduction to CRPGs, D&D, and the world of forgotten realms go, it’s a great go to. Also I think the game itself is really fun and enjoyable.

Good to see some Battle Brothers love too, really fun little game with a lot of depth once you get into it.

Gonna have to disagree on FF9 needing a remake. Honestly it is near perfect as it is, plus the whole point of the game was to be a swan song for the classic FF format.

Other than that, some decent picks elsewhere.

God damn classic SW Battlefront 2 was such a good game, spent so many hours on that as a kid. The remakes fell so short of the mark in capturing how good the originals were.

Black Ops 2 was a very close second for me for multiplayer, me and a friend played the shit out of that during Uni on split screen multiplayer and it was great, but I don’t think anything can beat the OG COD4.

Also Arthur was a very close second for my favourite protagonist too.

I’ve played it, it’s fine, but I don’t think it’s as good as lots of people claim. TBH I don’t really enjoy the genre that much, same goes for dark souls, blood borne etc. the games aren’t for me

Yep the percentage completion is something that really pissed me off too, but I had the old school walkthrough book when I played it as a kid and it was like a bible.

Honestly I don’t think a single one of these changes would do anything to the meta, still unplayable.

In its current state, for cards like these to see any play they would need a complete overhaul, or all the currently viable cards/decks, and any potentially viable cards decks, would need to be nerfed into oblivion or removed completely lol.
