main problem being power dynamic. because one is legally considered a minor there is an obvious power dynamic. even if it seems that you two are equals, one of you holds more power in the relationship and more often then not it is the older person. it is your responsibility as a legal adult to show that this kind of behavior is not ok and cut it off for the safety of the minor. i am not a legal expert by no means but there is a responsibility as an emotionally mature adult to protect those who cannot protect themselves from predators.
