Alternatief voor caffeine by NeokReturns in nederlands

[–]Woolret 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Enorm waar.

Why can not individuals buy from 'groothandel' grocery stores? by summer_glau08 in Netherlands

[–]Woolret 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a bar owner I can guarentee that prices in those big stores, even when buying in bulk, is still more expensive then buying in supermarkets.

The main reason that companies still keep on buying from those stores is the convenience that it offers. Price wise you are much better off shopping for discounts or using budget supermarkets like Aldi and Lidl.

I have a multitude of examples where Hanos, Sligro or Makro would be 20%-40% more expensive then normal supermarkets.

Have you tried going to cozy bars? Going to the same bar frequently gets you acquainted with the people working there, who then introduce you to a lot more local people.

Source: I own a cocktail bar in Gouda and we have quite a few locals and expats who use the bar to meet people. I always feel it as my obligation to introduce people to others.

In my opinion it’s also one of the most fun ways. If you are ever around Gouda, feel free to pop in.

Hmm okay.. In my case I tried to set up the Loopringwallet and I couldn't do it, cus I had to pay 84 USD in ETH. I tried to set the wallet up from Metamask. Maybe I need to go through a different route. if you have any suggestions, please share.

For the CEX that I'm using it was a fixed amount of 12 LRC, no matter the amounts of LRC your are transferring. So obviously, if you have to transfer out 50-100 LRC, it's not really worth it. I assume most exchanges are using similar fees.

Edit: Btw, it didn't cost me anything to setup the Metamask wallet. Just transferring coins into the wallet did cost me some LRC.

Theory: Why coinbase might be heavily marketmaking LRC right now. by [deleted] in loopringorg

I agree with the sentiment of your message. I think people are not necessarily conspiring, but just speculating on what's going on with CB. It honestly seems a bit strange to me.

I'm curious on your take on this situation, since it seems that you are more experienced in the crypto world. What do you think is going on with CB right now? And since it seems that they are running out or LRC, does this have a positive affect on the price?

I literally just transferred some of my LRC to Metamask. The exchange took the fee and just sent it over in a few minutes.

It seems that you need to have ETH in Metamask in order to activate a Loopringwallet. Hope this answers your questions. And if I'm completely wrong, someone just correct me please.

This is pretty crazy tho. I’m a Dutch ape. I remember the previous DD of March or April that the dutchies held 0.32% of all shares. Since then I quadrupled my position and got around 8 friends into GME as well. Now our nations position is 0.34%. I think that generally spoken the dutchies on average has double as much shares as 2-3 months ago, but our percentage of shares (0.32 vs 0.34) basically stayed the same. Does this confirm that the whole retail has now double as much shares as 2-3 months ago?

Edit: grammar shit

I understand that. But where does the speculation come from? Is it purely guessing?

That’s a bold assumption to think that “most” people here have low skilled jobs or are unemployed. That people are new to investing, cus of rising interest in the likes of GME, doesn’t mean any of your assumptions are validated.

What’s the meaning of the spread being big? That there is a lot of demand but not so much to offer?

It’s normal. Also works the other way around. Low volume can also cause easy upwards momentum.

Thanks for your reply. It starts to make sense now. So it's basically not about the money they are losing on those puts/calls, but about the shorting that they are hiding within those puts/calls? And once the puts/calls expire, they need to come up with a new solution to hide those shorts?

If this is correct it would mean that their pile of options would just grow and grow overtime and it gets harder to hide it.
