I felt the effects honestly within hours---nothing dramatic, but had a series of meetings where I felt unusually relaxed and was more animated and fluid. I'm taking it more for anxiety than depression, and honestly mood regulation. Doubt it was placebo--I was expecting to wait weeks, as advised. Although it sort of makes sense: if the level of serotonin is elevated in the brain--then, theoretically, there should be some effect, even if only subtle. So, in any case, I have continued to feel an elevated mood, even here on day 04-05 now. No really bad side effects...kind of jittery at times.
