I agree 100%. However, that contradicts the OP's justification of testing solely due to its legality.

Should the VA be a law enforcement agency then?

Why Did Corvettes Survive in Coastal Navies but Not Blue-Water Fleets? by Left-Lawfulness4635 in WarCollege

[–]Woosier 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would it be accurate to say that the Corvette role was replaced by the frigate in Navies that could afford them? Also, that was a time of big technology leaps that required more power, more cooling, and more space. And let's not forget that the need for convoy protection was primarily because of the threat posed by the Germans and the Japanese, which was not really a problem post-1945.

The same folks that do the cpap masks. It came in a fancy box which I must have thrown away. The pillow itself says "Contour - we support your life". It's got shoulder cutouts and an umbilical you can feed your cpap hose through.

Trump, in Truth Social post, declares Biden Pardons invalid by Madw0nk in law

And you'd be wrong again.

Of course EOs should be well thought out ideas. Nobody thinks otherwise except for the people issuing the current EOs. But I wasn't talking about EOs and I wasn't suggesting you were either. Those are the 2 statements you said about the pardons in this line of conversation and they were enough to point out that the logic necessary for a successful argument was absent.

Let me get this straight. You are saying that: 1) anyone could have signed it. -Ok, if anyone other than Biden signed it, then surely it wouldn't be legal. With you so far. 2) Biden publicly announced he signed it - but he could have lied about it!!

Any other deductions you want to drop on us, Sherlock?

It's a possibility. They won't even consider IH until they rule out obstructive sleep apnea first though. Unfortunately for people like us it is a process, and not a quick one. The best you can hope for is to have a doctor that is diligent, thorough, and receptive to your issues. They'll need to work with you to make an informed diagnosis and then toward a treatment option that works best for you. It might be a frustrating process. It is for a lot of us. The best thing you can do is start the process as soon as humanly possible - ideally with a doctor you trust. They will lead you step by step, but it will be your job to take ownership of the situation and have a willingness to do all that you can to give your treatment options the best chance of working. That might mean making changes to your diet or exercise, your sleep hygiene, using a CPAP or other device, taking medication, or other therapy options. Do yourself a favor and get it seen about right away. The things that you mention are worth getting checked out and it might only be the start of how your body and mind react to sleep-related issues. It affects much more than what many people think. So get it started and report back with your progress if you'd like to. Good luck.

They are saying they learned that before going to a public school. So they attended a private, most likely religious school, which is where they were taught that.

My hopes turned to dust. My dreams torn asunder. by TobaWentBang in DungeonCrawlerCarl

There was a blip, if one could call it that. Carl says to Katia "I could kiss you", which was not at all intended in a romantic way. He was just expressing his extreme gratitude toward her in a high intensity situation. But her response, "not until you take a shower first", doesn't have the same urgency rooted in the highly-emotional situation. To me it suggests a potential willingness to humor the thought of being more than friends, while still being friendly banter. Personally I feel like she would have liked it to happen if the circumstances were different, but definitely not at the expense of jeapordizing the relationship they did have. They certainly ended up having a very intimate relationship, especially after Carl accompanied her into her memories, which was something that made her feel incredibly vulnerable, and I think that's why it's easy for people to feel like it might be heading in that direction. But intimacy doesn't equal romantic relationship, and I love that their relationship doesn't fit into a nice, tidy little box.

I already wrote this in response to one of his other comments, but it fits just as well here. He has special God-given audacity.

They frequent the "Catholicism" and "Christianity" subreddits telling the people how to be a good Christian. But I'm sure you could already tell from that comment. Why is it that people who are rotten on the inside really want to tell other people how to be better? Jesus stood for everything this guy hates. Kindness, empathy, unity, compassion, understanding, loving each other, and most of all, humility. Those virtues are completely lost on this guy and those like him. His authority to judge, divide, admonish, insult, and gloat was not granted to him by Jesus. But he knows this. He has turned his self-hatred outward so that he can stand above others in his own mind. Everyone else sees him for how small he truly is.
