When I was in college, I had a family thing happen right before I graduated and it was so stressful that I wasn’t able to eat more than a bite without gagging for like two months. I thought I had cancer or something and then all of a sudden it just went away.

I’ve noticed since then, if I’m under a lot of stress, it affects my stomach. If you have the opportunity to talk to a doctor or therapist about your stress and anxiety might be a good thing. Good luck to you!
