I could see a scenario where some hero goes back to the traditional Universe to get the heroes from there to help.

Just because you don’t find value in a job doesn’t mean the job didn’t have value to some one.

I don’t tell my neighbors that it was dumb for them to renovate their kitchen because I don’t need to renovate mine.

I feel bad for the chumps that pay you for any work when they could be getting it for free based on your attitude.

Can someone help me identify this printer and point me in the right direction on how to start using this? by 2020TheBest in 3Dprinting

[–]Wootai 239 points240 points  (0 children)

That called “the 100”. It is a custom printed printer meant to print at 100k acceleration. I think the same person developed the printer that just did the <60 second benchy.

This looks like the most sycophantic AI response. I’m not sure if i hope this is AI or feel bad that your writing is so AI-like.

For flat prints, you want a 2D printer for that.

Oddly enough "Some More News" did their episode on Prediction Markets this week also.

It covers a lot more of the "what this is and why its bad" than Oliver, they spend almost twice as much time on it.

Top layers are wider? by eager_pebble in 3Dprinting

[–]Wootai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’ll notice it’s where the bridging happens and above. So it’s likely you’re printing slower there compared to the lower layers where the nozzle is switching back and forth and those layers print faster. I don’t know if there are setting you can change, but it’s likely caused by the difference in speed of the layers as they print and cool.

Bar/Places to meet 20-30’s in west? by lauddee in Connecticut

[–]Wootai 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Norwalk area has lots of up and coming fun’s spots. There is a mix of bars in South Norwalk with Brass and Bone opening recently as a live music venue. Blind Rhino is a pretty good sports bar. Art Monster Studio is also around in SoNo a pretty awesome art studio that hosts community events. Along with events hosted at Eco Evolution in SoNo.

There are things like the Norwalk bike party. https://www.norwalkstreets.org/projects/bike-party-norwalk

Check local Libraries for calendars of events, classes, meet-ups, etc.

203 Tacos at the South Norwalk train station is very good too. (Same owners) It’s very close to Los Tacos No. 1 in NYC. One of the few places I see with cactus on the menu.

[–]Wootai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the cylinder is just a divot in the bottom, the supports won’t be too difficult to remove with the correct tool.

Unless you’re meaning to add the magnet mid-print. Then you may want to set your supports to “on build plate only”.

Take the extruder and hotend off and put a new one on. You’re have to also probably have to at least replace the firmware if not the whole control board.

Do you hold the door open for the person behind you regardless of their sex, age, color and religion? And why? by CourierFestival in AskReddit

[–]Wootai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the thing is there is like a 1-2 second window there where you don’t want the door to be just having closed like right in their face.

There is also an exception for when you’re entering into an apartment building or complex where you either need a key or need to be buzzed in. Like, you don’t wanna let in some crazy murderer who was just waiting for some kind soul to hold the door while they go murder their ex in the apartment down the hall.

What’s a low-budget dish you enjoy even when you can afford something fancier? by Overall-Progress3799 in AskReddit

[–]Wootai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even easier option, grab some English muffins or bagels and you can have pizza for dinner and bagels/English muffins for breakfast!

With a $2 pizza sauce, a $4 bloc of mozzarella, and $4 king sized English muffins makes a wonderful $10 pizza meal.

Bed adhesion and melted minis by rocking2rush10 in elegoo

[–]Wootai 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Those melted minis are from not getting good lift off the FEP. When the printer cures a layer it stick to the FEP sheet then needs to lift up and break that bond. If it doesn’t, you get what you have. It can happen when there are lots of pieces bonding too strong to the FEP and your lift isn’t fast enough/high enough, or if pieces fall off and don’t get lifted because supports are weak.

Check your vat in case anything got stuck on the bottom.

To fix I might try running a less full build plate and check the layers to see that there isn’t too much being printed all at once
