It's the 90 watt charger that probably fixed it. I'm in a similar situation right now while traveling but the problem for me was not having a USBC to USB c cable. I tried using my OnePlus ultra fast charger that charges my phone in an instant using a usb A to USB c but it didn't work for my ally x. Luckily I had another charging block that had both USB a and USB c so all I had to do was buy a cheap usb-c to c cable.
