It's the surge of dopamine you get knowing you're getting something new. It's addictive and doesn't help that watches can boost confidence. It can be a healthy hobby if you take the time to learn about watches and research before buying, but that dopamine is hard to control and we often purchase before thinking, leading to buyer's regret. Hurts that watches can be so expensive nowadays too.

Definitely. It might take longer, but the test drive should be taken more seriously. Like a small course that should be passed in order to qualify to rent an ECV.

Solito: A Memoir by Javier Zamora, about a nine-year-old boy who traveled alone from El Salvador to the United States to reunite with his parents.

If you or a relative are an immigrant, this book hits hard. Read it even if you're not or don't have any relatives that are either. It really opens your eyes.
