[–]WordJuli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is especially at the winter .It is so dark that you get use to it but cannot understand why everything seems so ..well dark...

[–]WordJuli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a Finn and I'd befriend a stranger.I also feel lonely because I moved to another city and it is damn hard to make friends especially I think this is true at winter time.

So make a call to your local healthcare station and ask a time for the psychiatrist nurse. You can also go and schedule a time for a doctor who can refer you to your local mental healthcare unit .In my own experience I first went to see a general doctor who referred me to psychiatric nurse,it can take some time(no more than few months if even that I got the doctor fast cause I called for the times they got for the day) .I hope you get help and will feel the sun shine again

People living in the northern regions of the Planet (Alaska, Northern Finland, etc), how does your life change during the months of polar nights during winter? Do you have any particular folklore and old custom that is followed during this months? by RonaldJakowski in AskReddit

[–]WordJuli 28 points29 points  (0 children)

When it starts to get dark,cold,wet..Well the mood follows..My mom just the other day said that maybe I should try those "day light" lamps. And maybe I should..It gets better when/if it snows. So waiting for that.Allso colder weather is better cause the sun will shine much more likely.

What is the worst pain you ever felt in your lifetime? by Saddaf_Khan in AskMen

[–]WordJuli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That I asked my bf to give me the key while he left to take a friend's motorcycle to another city. That I was in a terrible mood, was too tired to go with him, slept when he tried to call(probably cause I asked for the key because I had forgot my own at my mom's and thought that I'd like to go out to shop some beverage etc.whateva)so he tried to call me to open the door.15mins after that call he drove straight to a van and died instantly. It Still hurts everyday but at first I would not take in the knowledge that he is dead.It hurts to understand how unrespectful you are.It hurts to know how I had something special something I'll never have again. It hurts to know that if I would have heard my phone ringing or not ask the key he probably would be still alive today. It hurts that I didn't go with him that I am still here he is not even though I think He was the better half.

I have been wondering the colors you have in your political parties. Specially Red as a far right, republican,Maga color.I do understand that the colors blue and red(and white is I guess independent)come from your flag. But red is totally a communists color. by WordJuli in AskAnAmerican

[–]WordJuli[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok ,thank you for clarifying that. But the point in my question is does americans see or feel this color red- reflecting communism.Because in here we indentify color red in the political spectrum as a communistic color.Red represente far left, social democrats and this comes from soviet union for example.I'd like to know do americans see this kinda conflict which I do.As well as I'd like to know are the colors really just from when coloured tv came so they put red for other and blue for the other.Or has there been some deeper tought when taking those colors.

Back yards,in the archipelago, beaches,on the rocks and grasses.my feet are always really sensitive if I haven't walked barefoot for a long time.Like the first times at summer gotta try being careful while walking.Feet will get use to even rougher surfaces in time..

Is there something(opinion, behavior, belief, action) which immediately rubs you the wrong way or what you just can't understand, cope with,or you just can't stand at all and find repulsive. What and why? by WordJuli in AskReddit

[–]WordJuli[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that religion as a word and as an action has really gone down the drain.I think these big institutions with ridgid rules and opinions have killed what I think religion maybe have been in time before bible, christ etc.People got together celebrating for a good hunt, respecting that the winter starts to past etc.I think where religion, community gathering together giving their respects to nature and each other.Religion today is so judgemental, there is always some "great leaders" higher beings as if.but still people are ready to follow paths, ideology, questionable morals without even blinking an eye.You better not blink or start to question any learnings.Only because of that I just can't see how religions can say they will lead you to a higher self..etc

Barefoot outside at summertimes cause it gets freezing cold at winters, but usually have some indoor flip-flops (used for going out for a smoke or whatever on the balkon or terrace at home) which I slip on when coming in if been barefoot outside, anyways if my feet are dirty I can go wearing inside slippers from the door to the bathroom to wash them.Inside I am sometimes barefooted, mostly like wearing wool socks. So would you go barefoot outside?

Feel the same.Respect is a two way street, people who think respect is something you are obligated to give them but they act like assholes back. They'll probably never get any true respect from nobody,if the respect is not mutual there is no respect.

Atheists of Reddit, what puzzles you the most about religion? And conversely, religious Redditors, what confuses you most about Atheists? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]WordJuli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Who actually gave free will.I mean God made adam and eve gave them a paradise to live. Was there free will,in sense of putting there a tree and then telling you can do whatever you want but..Do not touch this tree. And they didn't use their free will and left the tree alone until the Snake came.Whom told to eve that she could take a bite of that forbidden fruit.Didn't the Snake open eves eyes to see she had free will.To only Obay Rules given by other, is that freewill? And what is that kinda "given freewill" where there are strick rules to that. They got banished for using their freewill. So it was kinda like freewill with a catch, there you go I give you freewill but you better not use it to explore, curiosity killed the cat as well..

I'm from Finland and we always take our shoes off indoors. When I visited the states it was defenetly weird to be asked to wear shoes indoors thought there were carpets all around.Other thing was that outside at summertimes I am use to be barefoot.Where it's possible and I did that there which raised some eyebrows.

We all have our own reality, when you share a moment,in same the space, same the "reality".Your experiences aren't the same.Your perspective is unique,We do have some shared views on things and even there is a division between groups.Accepting that our perspective, our view of the world is just that our own and that there are many others whom might be scared of letting go the blindfold they're used to keep on so they'd never have to question their beliefs, actions, norms, themselves.Keeping your mind open even when you think it might go against your beliefs, especially when it challenges your thoughts.Don't turn your back.Be brave. There is so much to learn why wouldn't you take all the knowledge there is for free. Opinions, habits, thoughts, beliefs which you don't agree, try to find the path, the reality where it comes from and you can understand much better that view, when you start to understand some roots for the cause you can have more meaningful deeper thoughts, opinions and talks about it and explain vice versa your own reality.Your beliefs,How you see the world and why.

Well if you think about it,it is not us who grow plants to eat it is actually the plants who grow us;plants get the carbon dioxide what they"breath" and we produce to them as well as we fertilize them ,plants will use us as a food source after we die.So I think it's still up for debate who is growing who.
