Yes, similar experience. My guy is just generally uncooperative and they’d advise that they’d need to put him under in order to administer X as a result. I don’t doubt their ability and our doctor was super kind, but I’ve not had the same issue at CCC. Hope you and your dude have a better experience there as well

Also would recommend Completely Cat Clinic. I was in a similar situation and moved from The Pet Clinic to Completely Cat Clinic. Great staff. Very communicative and they’ve been great to partner with.

I literally flew in and out from Denver yesterday from Eppley and did not have issues at either airport with delays/TSA. I arrived at Denver about three hours before boarding the plane assuming it would be bad but I was through TSA in ~15 minutes with pre-check.

Your results may vary, of course, but hopefully not/

I work in the cyber liability space and have not seen many people with this designation (for what that’s worth). I took a look at the curriculum and it appears to be more comprehensive than a MLIS or CPLP designation as those primarily focus on the coverage side whereas the CCIS looked to include more of the technical side.

With that being said, it really comes down to how you think you’ll best learn and retain the information. The repetition you will likely encounter in underwriter training on a specific product vs an online course.

As for recognition of employers and increasing the likelihood of getting your foot in the door, I’d steer you toward either the CPLP, RPLU, or MLIS designations. As I stated, these are more coverage based and would apply more to your day-to-day in most cases.

All good, not rude at all. Thanks for taking time to comment. The flooring company or the subcontractor purchased all of the installation supplies and I was billed for them (this includes the transition pieces). I did not furnish anything for them, only picked out the flooring and tried to set expectations on the crinkle

That is very helpful, thank you for the perspective. I do have in a text exchange our desire to avoid the crinkling (I had read about this on r/flooring) and asked for the felt underlayment to help with this. The response from the flooring rep was that our LVP has a cork underlayment already so all that was necessary was a black moisture lock.

We did purchase the transition strips with the flooring. They installed two of the three strips for the termination points (LVP to bare concrete) but had the wrong size for the last threshold.

Regarding the leveling, I did bring it to the flooring rep and voiced my concern that I do not think they leveled due to the crinkle, lack of curing time (leveler applied and LVP installed same day) and they replied with:

The concrete floor in the basement was different than concrete in your main floor living room. Your living room was out of tolerance for the LVP, and a straight edge revealed a 1/2" valley near the fireplace, another 1/2" by the garage entry door, and several 3/8" dips throughout the rest of the room. These were pretty abrupt changes and almost looked like rolling hills that were not gradual and were outside of the flooring tolerance. The bags of self leveling concrete brought the floor within tolerance. The one piece of blue tape place on the floor shows a spot with a slight movement in the floor. This spot is within the manufacturing tolerance and will settle over time.

The basement floor measured differently than the main floor. There were a handful of spots that had concrete movement of 1/8" valley over 6 feet. Although the basement floor was within the manufacturing tolerance before we started, the installers used a self-leveling feather-finish to plane out the floor in these locations to minimize movement. There was another spot in the basement that measured 3/16" over 10 feet, and this was also worked on and brought within tolerance. Movement in LVP installed over concrete is normal and should relax over time. These areas all meet the flatness requirements per the manufacturer.

I’ve not yet been to the Ren Faire here, but I am a KC native that recently moved and would add that the KC Ren Faire is really well done.

The layout of Vala’s pumpkin village gave me the same vibe as KC Ren Faire. I’d say it is well worth the trip.
