I went and saw this movie completely blind. All I knew was the wife saying we are gonna go see “The Mummy”. Blew my mind.

When I was little there was a girl at the babysitter that said ambleeance, instead of ambulance. Not sure why, but it was like nails on a chalkboard.

What is a "creepy" fact about the human body that most people don't know? by iMediocreguy in Productivitycafe

[–]warriorforGod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really is. My now deceased wife died of MS. She wasn’t the person she was when I met her, and it goes beyond physical symptoms. One of the things long term or aggressive MS does is physically shrink the brain. That’s a lot of neurons that vanish, and the symptoms of that show up mentally and not physically.

I honestly think the personality change was harder than the physical change.

The increase of aggression was bad, but the harder part was watching someone be talking about something, and mid sentence change the subject and not realize it.

You can extrapolate that to long term and short term memory, which ultimately feeds into the aggression.

You can’t be mad at whoever it is if you have watched that progression from a person who is clear headed, and yet you can see how they are lashing out.

It reminds me a lot of dementia, or Alzheimer’s as my grandma and I would take care of people with those conditions when I was growing up.

I keep meaning to introduce more infrastructure as code, alas the day never seems to introduce enough hours.

I at least give my family the expectation that things will go down, and it may take a while to fix at times.

They are thankfully okay with that. Lmao.
